This is my favorite stop on the way back to Laredo. The food, atmosphere, and service never disappoint. I always try something new, and each time I'm even more impressed than the last. If you're in the Austin or Lockhart area, this place is a must-visit.
I was taken aback by the chicken being left out on the counter as customers passed by to use the restroom, nearly hitting it and being exposed to germs.
The staff was friendly, and the food was okay, but I will probably not return due to this possible health code violation.

Cute cafe. Friendly staff. They make as much from scratch as they can. We ordered the popovers - absolutely delicious and their compound butter is awesome. My husband ordered the spaghetti and said it was good. I ordered the tomato soup - wonderful - and the caesar salad with grilled chicken. I would have rated the food a 4 until I went to eat the last bit of chicken as it was pink inside. We talked to them about it, and they were very sweet and gave us a discount. They explained...
