It’s hot. It’s Smokey. It’s everything you need. Got to enjoy this place after many years away. Just damn good beef. Had the turkey too, which I substituted for the half chicken since they were sold out. Nice and moist too.
Best part is that waft of warm comforting hug of the open pit as you place your order. The sausage links are some of the best in the biz. Get them!
Pro tip: order the sweet tea (or any bev) you get a nice keepsake, a Kreuz branded plastic cup. Fine China for when company comes over. Let em know you’ve eaten some of the best bbq ever.

Words don’t even do it justice. This was the most flavorful, most tender barbecue I’ve ever had. I spent 60 bucks on 1/2 pound of beef shod, 1/2 pound of brisket, a half a chicken, 1 jalapeño cheese link, a fountain drink, a cup of Mac and cheese, and baked potatoes and my only regret is that I didn’t spend more. Every bite was memorable and all barbecue will be stacked up against this serene experience. My mouth waters thinking about it.
Btw, there’s a live band so that was cool.
