I saw this place once driving by and didn't stop. Today, I stopped.
Today, I got the chance to stop in. If you happen by on a Saturday, take advantage of the farmers' markets in the square. There are lots of great opportunities to purchase homemade items.
I enjoyed everything about the place. It's small but big enough to be cozy. They also have a patio area for those who enjoy the outdoors.
They have several options for alcohol. I didn't try anything this visit but will in the future
The young lady who served me was fantastic. Eager to talk about the menu and all the options they offer.
I asked what I should get for my first visit and was given several options. I chose the jalapeno cream cheese burger with fries.
Once I made my decision, I was asked if I wanted to put some garlic parmesian on my fries. I told her to surprise me.
As you can see, my food came out looking amazing! I was truly happy with my food choices. The burger was cooked to perfection. Juicy and full of flavor. I'm not normally a fan of skinny fries, but whatever happens to these fries while they were being cooked was fantastic.
Everything about this place makes me want to come back. Give it a try, you will be happy.

I absolutely love this place, and I love their soy Ginger Wasabi wings. They go so hard, they have kind of like a secret menu for their fries. So kinda ask them about that, I always get the cajun style, but I heard they had salt and vinegar, garlic parm , and a bunch of other cool flavors

Did someone say DELICIOUS?! Holy moly my burger was amazing and juicy! I tried the loaded fries and mushrooms. The loaded fries were super! The mushrooms are a pass for me they were too well done but if you’re in Lockhart and looking for a good burger come here!!! I also love pickles and they added the perfect amount I will definitely be back!

Hate to say this, but I did not have a good experience. The person working was obviously in a horrible mood and was not friendly at all. Also, who continues to serve beer in a hot glass?? I've been here before and was satisfied, but very disappointed with my last experience. .

They have a really fun karaoke night. Big enough to have a good time, small enough to sing with a crowd. The ownership of this establishment is Amazing, really approachable. It’s kid and dog friendly. There were some teens there doing karaoke and we were all having fun!!!

The Wednesday Special is the BOMB! I chose 5 bone-in wings, Mild Buffalo (mild, but with a little kick) and Fries. Good strong Iced tea, I bet Danny, my server, has fine dining experience. Great service all in an old school Austin vibe joint (Austin Chronical drop!) with a patio and beer selection I need to check out. All in little ol' Lockhart. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Super bummed as we have always been a fan of Load Off Fannys, but tonight our lemon pepper wings ended up being burnt to the point where you can taste the burnt on them. The fries were even bland and soggy, so giving 1 star as we paid $60 for our food and hoped for better quality. Highly recommend checking your food before picking up your order.

I’m a big fan of the Banh Mi hotdog and Cajun hotdog. The queso is also surprisingly addictive, I love the added bit of avocado. There’s a nice variety of beer.
Love stopping at Fannys when I'm in Lockhart. I love the mild buffalo with the house made ranch dressing. The lemon pepper is also very tasty! Wings are always big and perfectly cooked with the nice crispy crisp. I love their fries too! They have several beers on tap, if alcohol is your thing. They have a great patio out back (order at the bar) which has live music and karaoke some nights.

This is such a great local spot. The folks that run it are super nice and welcoming. Came in by chance last year and enjoyed the local draft beer plus the nice outdoor space. This year we stopped by and actually had the wings. They were delicious! My husband had the burger which was also pretty tasty!

Appetizer [fried mushrooms] did not taste good and when I respectfully put it to the side to not eat a man came over pointing it out, almost like he was mad. I’m sorry the food you made wasn’t good but don’t bash me for it. Eventually it was just me and my bf in the restaurant and the waiter barely came over to check on us, I had to wave them down.
