I’ve never in my life had a writer review. The food there was very horrible. We even let it be known that we did not like the food and all they can say is oh we’re sorry they still charged us. I paid the bill i will not be returning back

Basic bland food, not cooked correct , not overpriced if the quality of the food was correct but it wasn't. Nothing special about this place, the cocktail shrimp was just above room temp, should have been cold. The food is very bland basics cooking, the only good thing was the server. Older Hispanic women, served us with friendly smiles and kept our cups full, we had the red drum with jumbo shrimp, it was baked, no seasoning, , I do not recommend this place. Probably why at lunch the 2 other tables and us were the only ones there. I did wonder why the parking lot and inside was so vacant, should have read the reviews now I know why. Very unfortunate I have not left a negative review of any place I've been in a very long time. 4 years ago I ate their the place was crowded the food was great. And what's with the shredded tape all over the door like a crime scene. Very trashy looking.

Three of us went there for lunch. Only one waitress. Two of us ordered Chicken fried steak with Salad, bleu cheese dressing and Fries. One ordered Seafood with salad, ranch dressing. All three ordered gumbo appetizer. Waitress brought out two salads and stayed busy waiting on customers. I had to ask for my salad and she brought with bleu cheese dressing not ranch. Finally brought out the gumbo appetizer which was hot and very tasty. I asked for my ranch dressing but never got it. Got our meals and asked for tarter sauce and cocktail sauce never got them, Had to ask for ketchup and seems they have only tree bottles for a place with about 30 tables.
Summary; Catfish, oysters, shrimp, and chicken fried steak all very good My salad was good but would have been better with dressing.
Recommendation bring your own salad dressing, ketchup, tarter sauce.

Drinks were always empty. Everything we ordered that wasn't fried tasted like soggy water. Seafood is not fresh and we were worried about food poisoning after we left. This place needs to step it up.
The fried food was good but the grilled scallops and shrimp were overdone. The service was ok could have been better but ok. The boudin balls were ok but not the same as Louisiana. I did like the many options they had for a good price. Overall ok.
This food was cooked to perfection and everything was perfect.
Food was not that great, service was good.

They didn't cook my steak medium well. It was rare!! Super rare!! Too rare to eat! Told them we would cook it at home. They gave us a free slice of cheesecake. It was frozen cheesecake. But still. They were trying to make up for it.
Also, it was dead in there. Two waitresses. And our waitress spent 10-15 mins talking to her only other table, while ignoring the fact that I need a refill on my soda. Not very attentive to their very few customers.
Before talking a long time with someone, make sure your other customers are good to go for now. That's what I do with my patients at the hospital. Waitresses should do the same. Especially if you only have two tables to take care of.
Never seen a deep fried snapper but it was solid ?
