Had the pleasure of meeting Shane and Ben. The amount of time they took to show us the operation and explain the cooking process was a level of service you don’t get to experience often. Shane and Ben, thanks for making our experience memorable and special. Food was 10/10

We were greeted by Ben & Shane at the pits. They gave us a great little tour and a brisket education. What a way to start our meal. The service is equally great and the food, impeccable. You won’t regret making the trip whether you are local or a bbq travel aficionado.

Well we decided to see if this place lived up to what people were telling us and well…IT SURE DID!!! We had the beef rib…Amazing. Turkey...So moist and good. Brisket…Great. Jalapeño sausage…just right. Potato salad…very good. Mac and cheese…so cheesy and good. Cream and corn…sweet and delicious. DEFINITELY GOING BACK! Keep it up!

We just happened to find this restaurant by accident, after flying into Austin and looking for some real Texas BBQ on our way to San Antonio (we’re visiting from San Diego). As soon as we opened our car doors the delicious smell of smoked meat greeted us, making us even hungrier than we already were. After we entered the restaurant and saw a display of yummy sides. We tried the green beans, Mac and cheese, potato salad, and beans, all generous portions and scrumptious (although the green beans were a hands down favorite, even with my grand baby). We ordered a pound of ribs and a half pound of brisket. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the brisket very flavorful. Not only was the food super yummy, the staff were very friendly and patiently went over the sides and meat options in terms of how much to order to feed our family of four. So a special mention to Jadyn, Adran, and Aiden, you are super ambassadors for your wonderful restaurant! My only disappointment is that you don’t have a restaurant in San Diego, I’m sure it would be super popular

Stopped by Terry Black’s during my lunch break and was immediately greeted with great energy by Amelia and Paschal. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Both are excellent employees, and I truly hope Terry Black’s continues hiring more people like them!

Shoutout to the rest of the team as well.. you all did an amazing job. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious!

We got here first thing when they opened. Everyone welcomed us and showed us the pits and how they start their day. Place was so cozy, smelled delicious and was super clean. The food in all honestly was the BEST BBQ we have ever tasted. We tried everything, the sides tasted homemade and all was just to a 10. I recommed everyone to stop and try this BBQ Place. WE LOVED IT
