So Baby & I, yesterday, Sat, decided to go to Lockhart for cocktails & dinner after shopping at the Outlet Malls in San Marcos. We've been to Lockhart before, going to The Pearl Bar (cocktails) & the Little Trouble Restaurant (dinner) right next door
We looked forward to seeing the preeminate bartender, Ruben Brooks, there. Ruben is a tremendous asset for both the Pearl Bar & the City of Lockhart!
We enjoyed tremendously watching him make our delicious cocktails, listening to the many stories he told about the historic Pearl Bar & the City of Lockhart. He's just an absolute gentleman and a master of his craft!
Baby & I look forward to many returns to the Pearl and being entertained & enthralled with Reuben's command of the Bartendering Craft!
Ladies & Gentlemen, it's well worth the drive from whereever you're at to make the acquaintance of Ruben Brooks, you rock my man!! See you again soon!

Great famous salon that lives up to the hype. The bartender was very friendly and everything they made was excellent. They have an extensive happy hour drink menu. It's located less than a block from Lockhart's main square. There is free street parking in the surrounding blocks.

Old dusty western cowboy vibes -in all the best ways! The bartender was friendly and cool to talk to. Drinks were made expertly. And overall a peaceful place to sit and take a load off. Just wish they had a drink menu of not just standard drinks. I want the pearls unique drinks!
