I hate to give this place a four-star rating and only a three for the food, but here’s my reasoning. If your business name has “Rib” in it, the ribs should be absolutely amazing—and that’s where my issue lies.
For me, good ribs should hit a certain level of tenderness—not so soft that they completely fall off the bone when you pick them up, but tender enough that you don’t have to fight to get the meat off. Unfortunately, these ribs lacked that perfect tenderness and required more chewing than I expected.
That said, I’ve eaten a lot of their other barbecue items—like the sausage and turkey—and they’ve all been fantastic. Everything else has been spot on. The service is excellent, and the big guy cooking in the back is super friendly.
Bottom line: If “Rib” is in your name, your ribs should be the best I’ve had anywhere. They’re good, but they just don’t live up to the name yet.
We had 3 pc meat plate with 2 ribs and brisket. Our sides were mac & cheese and baked beans. Everything was hot. Fresh and delicious. The crew were pleasant and accommodating. We will be back. Great experience!

The food is ALWAYS at its best. Service is great, and the restaurant is always clean. We also get dinner to go and have never had an item missing or been disappointed. It's always good.

I’m picky about BBQ. And when I say this place is great I mean it. I’ve eaten BBQ everywhere I used to eat here all the time. Then I moved to Austin the “BBQ” capitol of Texas and I’ve tried them all. Well I recently moved back to The Longview area and I was invited to eat at Adam’s ribs by the owner. And from the first bite to the last I was in BBQ heaven. I was reminded why Adam’s Rib is Goated. Ribs, sausages, chopped beef, beans, And that perfect Banana pudding it’s all great.
If you are in the mood for some BBQ do yourself the service and try Adam’s rib
I recommend the monster tater it’s a lot of food so beware haha!
