“We went there to honor our beloved Joshua Bishop after his memorial service. He had worked there for three years. The owner came out and welcomed us and was even working in the kitchen alongside with her husband, so that the staff could take the rest of the day off. Brandi and David showed us the kitchen where Josh had worked and had a memorial displayed for him. We will always be grateful for their love they poured out on our family and the food is excellent. We will be back on a regular bases.”

“Our waitress Dixie looked as if she hated her job. By far, the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. We sat in booth C11 and water was dripping from the ceiling into my husbands soup and when it was brought to the waitress’s attention she did not look surprised at all and didn’t say much about it and kept walking. We had 20 min left on our 2 hour timer and myself and my kids were finishing up our cream and she came to our table telling us our time was almost out and we had to leave. We normally have a great experience but I’m really disappointed with this visit.”

“I just moved to the area from California 3 months ago and this establishment came up on my Facebook page, wanting to get out and do something I thought I would try it out. It was a Saturday night and pulling into the parking lot the nostalgia of what looked to be a real oil rig sat in front of the building which to me was really cool looking. I go in and sit at the bar and they have oil rags on the bar in front of each chair which was another nostalgia affect then I was promptly waited on by one of the bartenders. They had karaoke going on to where you sang on a small stage and a small dance floor in front of it. I walked around the bar and they have a pool table a few shuffle board tables and lots of oil rig pictures on the wall to look at. Then I asked one of the bartenders if there was a back area for which I seen pictures on Facebook and she said yes and took me out back showed me around. They have a large stage out back to host live bands and tables and chairs where you can smoke sit back relax with a beverage, and to mention with this Texas heat they even had swamp coolers out back to make you feel comfortable sitting outside. There was a great vibe there and a come as you are atmosphere with an equal mix of both male and female. When my friends come in from California I will definitely bring them here. I highly recommend stopping by this club if you're ever in the area I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Thank you Maggie for your great hospitality.”

“Wow, have never been more impressed with a place. Has very good vibes, food comes out fast, waiters are great. The food was some of the best that I have ever had from a Japanese restaurant. Their medium rare stake can be compared to the best steak I have ever tried. Will be back very soon!”

“Haven’t been since before Covid, still a great place for kids, pizza was delicious just like before, most of the staff was very nice (had a run in with an employee who was not having a good day) but we were a bit disappointed with some of the games. The games need to be upgraded and/or fixed… a good amount of them were messed up which was disappointing. Still the kids had a blast and that’s what this place is for… the kids!”

“I have been wanting to come try this place for a long time and I finally found the time today. Everything looked amazing, but I was in the mood for a good cheeseburger so that's what I got. I can honestly say it was one of the best I've had out in a long time. It was hot and fresh and huge. The patty had perfect seasoning and was not a frozen patty. I had a jalapeño bun which was also good. The fries were hot and crispy just how I like them. We also got some boudin balls which were really good too. My only wish for those was that we had some remoulade or spicy brown mustard, but they were good with ranch too. The staff was nice and we got good service too. Overall I'd say 10/10 for my food and experience. It is rare these days to have a really good eating out experience, so I am happy we got it today. I can't wait to come back for soul food Sunday soon. I'm thankful to have this place in Longview!”

“I am a versed traveler, Ramen lover and have been all over the country going to ramen places including San Diego, DC (to their voted best), Dallas, Houston and more and have to say that this place ALWAYS blows every other Ramen place out of the water. It's always so authentic, flavorful, the perfect amount of spice (I get a level 3-4) and never disappoints. There's also something about their seasoned eggs that make me want to order 10 at a time! If you like ramen, you're going to miss out if you don’t stop by here. How do we get this place to be nominated for James Beard or Michelin Star?! She deserves it! Update: we have now been over seas to Taiwan and South Korea and this place STILL has them beat! Can’t get much better I am telling yall! If we could, we’d eat here every day!”

“First off, I love all the color and pop of the outside. This is my second year pet sitting in longview and usually I'd hit up a chain coffee shop, not anymore though. Pricing on their menu is wonderful, under $10 for my coffee with extra shot and an everything bagel. I'm a creature of habit so I always get the same thing, but it doesn't stop the nice people from suggesting something different! If you don't stop by, you're truly missing out. This is what a real coffee shop should be.”

They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything thing I needed and then some. To say how much I appreciate their customer service would be an understatement. “I have been going here for about 3 years now. They have the best drinks and even better is probably the most affordable in the area. Coffee and T's is a hidden gem! It is pretty quiet, but just busy enough where you can focus really well if needing to get business done. I could not express how much I appreciate this place. I am a huge tea drinker and they make the BEST London Fog I've tasted! It is run by a family and they are friendly to everyone, but as an introvert they won't pry into your life unless you want to start conversing so that is nice. They are nicely located by a walking trail so you can always take it to go and walk. A plus is if you call them they can have your drink to pick up when you get there.

What makes them special:
-they have a large variety on there drink menu
-they offer some great homemade breakfast items
-connected with the community
-they hosted a Spanish class here at the coffee shop I went to for a year though it's now stopped, but I know they have an area in the back I've seen people use for various special activities
-community bookshelf
-sometimes free veggies
-they have a punch card so the 10th one is free with coupons when you give them your email

Recommendations for when visiting:
-if you are coming to work, I'd have your laptop charged as some of the seating areas does not have a charging port
-bring a jacket as (sometimes) it's cold”

“Came here expecting it to be good because it had 4.8 reviews at the time. Ended up being A little better than expected. I’m from the DFW area and we eat Thai food all of the time, this place was spot on to the caliber of food I normally eat in the city. I had a the Pad Thai which was about an 8.5 maybe 9 out of 10 (really good if you like spicy). Had good Thai Chili spice and flavor. Spice level about 4.5 out of 5 so if ur good with spice I would recommend. The wife had the Tom Kha soup, if you like an authentic flavor with hints of ginger, coconut & lemongrass then u would like it. I’ll give it about A 7.8 out of 10. Service I’ll give 10/10 the guy that runs the front house is really nice and cool people person type of guy and makes sure your comfortable throughout your experience, will come again next time I’m in Longview to try other dishes ✌🏽 oh and the drunken noodle portion could easily feed 2 adults.”

It was all served warm and quickly. The fries could have used some salt and a lesser fry time to avoid the semi-burnt taste. I'm a fry fanatic so fries are important to me, not so for everyone else. If you know you know. I would absolutely return again and try the tots.”

I found these with a meal delivery service and ordered one stick to try ,that one stick hit so we googled them, found out I can order direct. (I live in CT, they are in TX). I have not found stores here that sell them which is fine, cause their ordering is simple and seamless. I had an issue with one delivery, I emailed and they fixed it so fast.. I just got another delivery today and we did the sample packs, now I need to place another order as we are picking new favorites. Lemon bloom and strawberry vanilla are the two favorites in this house. (After brown cow, and maybe the clementine, they are all favorites, can that be a thing)”

I called ahead and asked to be set up in the room to the right when you walk in- we had 16, including 3 young children. The lady who took the reservation was very excited to have a large group. Everyone enjoyed the extended variety of items on the menu, the food was excellent and they even finished the night off with a “Happy Birthday” singing, complete with sombrero and sopapilla! The lady waiter did a great job - very attentive & friendly. It was reasonably priced & the food came out quickly, and was delicious. “This is hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had and easily the best bbq in Longview. It was so good we came back 2 days in a row for 3 meals to try more items. The mashed potatoes and gravy is the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, the coleslaw is so there and sweet, the fried okra is fresh and big pieces. We have tried the pulled pork, the brisket, the mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, fried okra, peach cobbler, and quesadilla. The brisket quesadilla melts in your mouth, the fajita veggies are perfection. The quesadilla is only $11 and is massive. We tried the green salsa that came with it and it’s like a slightly spicy guacamole mixed with salsa flavor blended to a puree. Delicious. The only thing I would say I wouldn’t write home about is the mac and cheese, simply because I prefer baked mac and cheese and this is more of a creamy one, you absolutely MUST stop here. The original bbq sauce is to die for. Smokey, sweet and spicy. 10/10 all the way around. Not to mention staff was incredible.”

“I feel so blessed to have come upon Golden Flake Bakery. A neighbor recently moved from FL to TX and I was looking for a bakery online to bake a birthday cake for her. I called Golden Flake Bakery by chance and they were very accommodating. They sent me a picture of the cake that was beyond my expectations. My friend just raved about the cake and loved the frosting. Her husband who isn't into cake said he really liked the cake and even had some for breakfast the next day. I would strongly encourage folks to check this gem of a bakery out. I've never had a business go out of their way for a one-time customer. I can't imagine what they do for their regular ones!”

Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. “Very tasty food! I got the half a chicken meal with rice and beans. It also comes with tortillas, chips, and a small amount of salsa. The Salsa was good but the green sauce was super spicy for me lol. The chips are on the thick side but were perfect to hold the salsa. They have a variety of drinks as well as special fountain fruit drinks and horchata. Service was very poor and they didn't check on us at all after dropping off the food. Luckily the drink cups were huge and we didn't have to ask for more. I will return but probably have my food to go.”

“Today I took my kiddos to Rotolo’s Pizzeria for lunch, and we had a great experience. The kids went with a classic cheese pizza, which was exactly what they wanted and thoroughly enjoyed. I decided to make a healthier choice and ordered a cauliflower crust pizza with chicken Alfredo, and it was absolutely delicious.

Our waiter (I wish I had gotten his name) was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The atmosphere was nice and quiet during the time we were there, making for a relaxing lunch.

Overall, Rotolo’s delivered great food, great service, and a pleasant dining experience. Only negative part of the visit was the water, it had a bad taste of iron. We’ll definitely be back!”

PLEASE SEE UPDATE BELOW. I really liked this place,......... they have good food, but their BBQ is not all that. No smoke ring and tastes more like it was done in the oven in a water bath then low and slow on a smoker. But if you want good food with excellent customer service, this is your place.

Two nights in a row I was served cold food that was suppose to be hot. Since I didn't know how long it had been off temp, it went to the dog. $30 worth of food to the dog
I spoke to the manager about it tonight and was told she would talk to her crew and make sure they didn't turn off the steam accidentally in the future. No offer to reimburse for the previous meals or even tonight's meal. With that attitude, I won't be back and have down graded my review to reflect their haphazard care of the dining public.”

I know this spot is still new to the area and they are handling the orders pretty good. The tables were clean and the service was friendly. Forgot the bacon on my burger, but it was an easy fix and the apologize for the inconvenience. I dont have any complaints from my vist and will be back to eat here again.”
