“We went there to honor our beloved Joshua Bishop after his memorial service. He had worked there for three years. The owner came out and welcomed us and was even working in the kitchen alongside with her husband, so that the staff could take the rest of the day off. Brandi and David showed us the kitchen where Josh had worked and had a memorial displayed for him. We will always be grateful for their love they poured out on our family and the food is excellent. We will be back on a regular bases.”

“Our waitress Dixie looked as if she hated her job. By far, the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. We sat in booth C11 and water was dripping from the ceiling into my husbands soup and when it was brought to the waitress’s attention she did not look surprised at all and didn’t say much about it and kept walking. We had 20 min left on our 2 hour timer and myself and my kids were finishing up our cream and she came to our table telling us our time was almost out and we had to leave. We normally have a great experience but I’m really disappointed with this visit.”

“RUN do not walk to Judd's! We went in last night with a party of 13, and received wonderful, attentive service. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive and patient, and made sure we knew if there were delays in receiving any of our food and why. They have a large variety of elevated food on the adult menu, but great options for kids as well. My 6 year old daughter was ecstatic they offered PB&J as it was the first time we've ever seen it on a kids menu. (Genius by the way.) Like everything else, however, it was no ordinary PB&J, it was toasted on thick bread and the PB and were melted and delicious. I had the Black and Bleu Flatbread, and it might be the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. We all left fat and happy, and I had leftovers for lunch today! (Just as delicious) Can't wait to go back, hubby and I are already thinking about a date night!♥️”

“Haven’t been since before Covid, still a great place for kids, pizza was delicious just like before, most of the staff was very nice (had a run in with an employee who was not having a good day) but we were a bit disappointed with some of the games. The games need to be upgraded and/or fixed… a good amount of them were messed up which was disappointing. Still the kids had a blast and that’s what this place is for… the kids!”

“I have been going here for about 3 years now. They have the best drinks and even better is probably the most affordable in the area. Coffee and T's is a hidden gem! It is pretty quiet, but just busy enough where you can focus really well if needing to get business done. I could not express how much I appreciate this place. I am a huge tea drinker and they make the BEST London Fog I've tasted! It is run by a family and they are friendly to everyone, but as an introvert they won't pry into your life unless you want to start conversing so that is nice. They are nicely located by a walking trail so you can always take it to go and walk. A plus is if you call them they can have your drink to pick up when you get there.

-they have a large variety on there drink menu
-they offer some great homemade breakfast items
-connected with the community
-they hosted a Spanish class here at the coffee shop I went to for a year though it's now stopped, but I know they have an area in the back I've seen people use for various special activities
-community bookshelf
-sometimes free veggies
-they have a punch card so the 10th one is free with coupons when you give them your email

Recommendations for when visiting:
-if you are coming to work, I'd have your laptop charged as some of the seating areas does not have a charging port
-bring a jacket as (sometimes) it's cold”

“I’ve traveled all over Texas tasting BBQ, it’s my hobby! I highly recommend Boxcar BBQ in Longview on Gilmer road. My wife and I each had three meat plates, mine was. Brisket, Ribs, and Boudin, with Mac and cheese and potato salad, the wife had the same meats with coleslaw and the baked potato salad. The ribs were outstanding, we both agreed on that, the brisket was good, although with just a hint of salt added the flavor exploded, the boudin was good and not too spicy from my wife’s viewpoint. All the sides were very good which was a little surprising because a lot of BBQ joints are lacking in that category. Good environment in the restaurant and a steady flow of customers confirmed our opinion that this was a great choice for lunch. We’ll be back!”

“I feel so blessed to have come upon Golden Flake Bakery. A neighbor recently moved from FL to TX and I was looking for a bakery online to bake a birthday cake for her. I called Golden Flake Bakery by chance and they were very accommodating. They sent me a picture of the cake that was beyond my expectations. My friend just raved about the cake and loved the frosting. Her husband who isn't into cake said he really liked the cake and even had some for breakfast the next day. I would strongly encourage folks to check this gem of a bakery out. I've never had a business go out of their way for a one-time customer. I can't imagine what they do for their regular ones!”

I called ahead and asked to be set up in the room to the right when you walk in- we had 16, including 3 young children. The lady who took the reservation was very excited to have a large group. Everyone enjoyed the extended variety of items on the menu, the food was excellent and they even finished the night off with a “Happy Birthday” singing, complete with sombrero and sopapilla! The lady waiter did a great job - very attentive & friendly. It was reasonably priced & the food came out quickly, and was delicious. We definitely will be back, as it is very close to our house!!! 5/5”

“This is hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had and easily the best bbq in Longview. It was so good we came back 2 days in a row for 3 meals to try more items. The mashed potatoes and gravy is the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, the coleslaw is so there and sweet, the fried okra is fresh and big pieces. We have tried the pulled pork, the brisket, the mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, fried okra, peach cobbler, and quesadilla. The brisket quesadilla melts in your mouth, the fajita veggies are perfection. The quesadilla is only $11 and is massive. We tried the green salsa that came with it and it’s like a slightly spicy guacamole mixed with salsa flavor blended to a puree. Delicious. The only thing I would say I wouldn’t write home about is the mac and cheese, simply because I prefer baked mac and cheese and this is more of a creamy one, you absolutely MUST stop here. The original bbq sauce is to die for. Smokey, sweet and spicy. 10/10 all the way around. Not to mention staff was incredible.”

“Very tasty food! I got the half a chicken meal with rice and beans. It also comes with tortillas, chips, and a small amount of salsa. The Salsa was good but the green sauce was super spicy for me lol. The chips are on the thick side but were perfect to hold the salsa. They have a variety of drinks as well as special fountain fruit drinks and horchata. Service was very poor and they didn't check on us at all after dropping off the food. Luckily the drink cups were huge and we didn't have to ask for more. I will return but probably have my food to go.”

Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!”
