“I enjoyed the atmosphere of Cheddar’s. I certainly got a taste of the down-home welcome and service. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat was very tender and tasty, but the breading was too thick. I was able to enjoy it in any case.“
“We already like to come to the Cotton Patch as the food is pretty good. However, we decided to be adventurous and go on a Saturday night for their steak special. This isn't a steak house, so we weren't expecting much. However, lately, most of the steakhouses aren't much to brag about either. We found out this is one of Longview's best kept secrets! The steak was tender and flavorful. The salad was as pretty as it was tasty, and the baked potatoe was perfect! I haven't had such a good baked potatoe in years! Much better than what we've been getting at the local steakhouses. Service was great! (We had Lucas as our server) It was quicker, and quieter than going to any of the steakhouses around here. It all was so good that we tried the butter cake desert. It was good, but I think we will try the peach cobbler next time. My husband asked me if this was going to be our new Saturday night thing as we enjoyed it so much. I think it just might! Excuse the photos, I got my half of the potatoe and cut the onions up before I took the pictures.Parking: There's parking in the front as well as in the back. My husband likes to park in the front as it's closer to the door, while I park in the back. I do this as it's less crowded with a lesser chance of getting a ding on my door from others. It's not that much of a walk to the front door.“

“Nice location, clean and inviting atmosphere. Let's start with the complimentary drink. The hurricane is definitely my favorite. We had fried pickles for an appetizer alittle on the thin side but I aint complaining because we tore them up. I ordered a fried catfish and shrimp. Nothing really special it was decent but my fiancé ordered the Cajun Envie. Blacken catfish and shrimp with a crawfish sauce on a bed of orzo pasta with green beans and fried okra. Omg. So so goooooood. We spent about $55-65 with tip. Will definitely revist!! Oh let me nitpick alittle...lol... The place is small. Who cares I was phat and full when we left.“
“Food is always great. It's a restaurant that's like stepping back into the 80's. Good salad bar, chicken, fish, steak, meat loaf. It's all really good.Vegetarian options: Large salad barKid-friendliness: My kids love it, and get excited when we go.“
“We love Cowboy Chicken! Honestly, it's the best chicken in this area. I'm gluten free and have never had an issue. I eat the chicken, garden salad, keto salad, chicken enchiladas, twice-baked potatoes (the best!) and broccoli. We order Thanksgiving dinner from here every year and it's wonderful!! I am not someone who likes turkey but I Cowboy Chicken's! The people who are able to eat gluten love the dressing and cobbler! Must visit and see for yourself how good the chicken is!Vegetarian options: They offer a veggie plate.Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac disease and have never been glutened here.“
