“Despite a nearly identical name to another restaurant chain owned by the Papas family, don't be reluctant to eat here...it's exceptional! Everything was a surprisingly unique with great quality. We live 30 miles from it but plan to get there whenever possible.”
“It's been a while since I visited, but El Rincon is still an awesome place. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. Their salsa is extra spicy, which is perfect for me, but might be too much for a more delicate tongue. Also, and importantly, you can get deep fried burritos, which are as delicious as they sound!”
“???wow. I been looking for a place with authentic tacos, but the quesadillas with raw onions and cilantro was ??Love the location with outside seating.Enjoyed finally finding true fruit drinksCompletely enjoyable all the way around?Thank ladies?♀️A must try”
“The food there is wonderful. I normally order through the drive-through but decided to eat inside with my parents for the first time. Enjoyed listening to the blues music they had playing. The staff is not very friendly but the food makes up for that.”
“My husband took me here after visiting this place with co-workers. What a treat! Extremely quick service. Never an empty basket of chips, never an empty salsa bowl, never an empty glass. The food was incredible. Trust me on this one, go to El Rey and order Robert's Special. You will not be sorry. Every single bite is a delight. It is large enough to share but we got our own because it was just SO good!I will be telling anyone who will listen about this place. I will happily visit again...and again.”
“Great hidden gem of 'frontera' style cooking with real mendoza, and traditional cuisine. The habanero sauce is a bit hot for adventurous tastes and the menudo is good but way spicy if you are not accustomed to the intensity of hot and spicy.Dietary restrictions: There is a way to get gluten free here.”
“This place was recommended and we're glad it was. We each had a taco and a sope; I also had the gordita. Everything was made fresh, and the service was wonderful. Our waiter was very helpful with his recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed the El Pastor in my gordita - so tasty!Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic Mexican food. The ambiance was relaxing and the food was So Tasty!”
“I used to live down the street from tacos goyo, and would eat here almost every day while I was pregnant. Then, I moved out of town and have been craving some forever. Today I went back and boooy did I miss this place. Don't walk, run!”
“Los Papagallos is the epitome of an "unassuming" little restaurant.Tucked away on a corner, family run, freshly cooked dishes from fresh ingredients.I'm a 12 year customer, having eaten here weekly during the school year, its more than a hundred visits that I'm basing my rating on.The steak lunch special and the wings are not to be missed. They can serve them 'nearly mild' all the way to 'melt your face'.These are not the menu terms, they rate them 'medium' to 'very hot'.Get the wings, with seasoned fries, and extra ranch -- you won't be disappointed.”
“Went with a large group last night...really good food, great service..loved the hot sauce and green sauce, just the right amount of heat...don't want sauce so hot you can't taste your food and they have it down perfect. We had 20 people and the service was great. I will be going again. This was the one out by the old Contessa Inn in Longview.”
“I have been saying this for years. Tele's is the BEST TEXMEX in East Texas. The chips, salsa, and even the queso are absolutely amazing.I allllllllways get the Enchiladas Tejanas. It is the best thing in the world.Tonight, I went off my normal routine. Ended up getting the Fajitas. When they say they have the best Fajitas in town, it is exactly 100% true! Goodness! Steaming, sizzling, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable as always!!!Id give it 10 stars if was a thing!”
“First time trying them. It's a red food trailer, not a building. No outdoor seating. But the tacos were tasty. Gooood. I bought a Pollo, a Bistek and 2 Barbacoas. They came with cilantro and onions. The red sauce was hot just I like it. The price for each taco was $2.25. I will be going back no doubt....I ate the chicken taco before I took this photo....”
“A true hole in the wall. This place is good and cheap. But your coming here because it's good and cheap. Don't expect 5 star service. I normally get the steak burrito with everything on it. Recommend it if your looking for something on the go.”
“This is my first time coming here and I got the brisket egg and cheese burrito. It's awesome and there hot sauce is spicy ans has flavor. What a AMAZING atmosphere, Christian music playing and the waitress was just a sweetheart. I will definitely come back!!”
