“If you are looking for truly authentic Mexican food, El Taquito is your spot. We tried the tacos and gorditas. Deshebrada or shredded pork with red sauce, I learned, is a must try!! The shrimp cocktail looks great and was a huge portion along with the soups. The two things I want to try next time.“

“All time favorite Mexican restaurant in Longview. I don’t usually even like rice and beans but I love theirs! As well as their green sauce that you can’t get everywhere else, have had a few poor service experiences but the food has never disappointed. If you go, gotta try their Melon drink as well.“

“First and foremost, Michael L. is the backbone of this restaurant. He truly represents Papacita’s excellence. Michael L. has a great attitude and is an amazing employee. I also heard that he has been a loyal team member, working at Papacita’s since 2020 and putting in six days a week.
In my humble opinion, Michael deserves a raise or some kind of recognition. He is exactly what every company wants in an employee: hardworking, respectful, reliable, and a man of integrity.“

“My extended family and I celebrated my birthday at Beni’s on the first of April. I called ahead and asked to be set up in the room to the right when you walk in- we had 16, including 3 young children. The lady who took the reservation was very excited to have a large group. Everyone enjoyed the extended variety of items on the menu, the food was excellent and they even finished the night off with a “Happy Birthday” singing, complete with sombrero and sopapilla! The lady waiter did a great job - very attentive & friendly. It was reasonably priced & the food came out quickly, and was delicious. We definitely will be back, as it is very close to our house!!! 5/5“

“We found this food truck on our way traveling from Florida to Texas and stopped here for dinner based on their google rating. The only thing I wanted was authentic tacos and HOT hot salsa. This place hit the nail on the head! We had to go back and tell the ladies just how amazing their food was. It was absolutely amazing. Thank you so very much!“

“Very tasty food! I got the half a chicken meal with rice and beans. It also comes with tortillas, chips, and a small amount of salsa. The Salsa was good but the green sauce was super spicy for me lol. The chips are on the thick side but were perfect to hold the salsa. They have a variety of drinks as well as special fountain fruit drinks and horchata. Service was very poor and they didn't check on us at all after dropping off the food. Luckily the drink cups were huge and we didn't have to ask for more. I will return but probably have my food to go.“

“The birria was outstanding! Large portions. Very generous with the tortillas! We also had the flautas which were very good. I appeciated the little salad on top. This is our favorite Mexican so far after recently moving to Longview. Everyone is very nice and friendly. 🩷“

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“

I ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito, and it was honestly the best one I’ve ever had. It was fully stuffed, perfectly warm, and the ingredients were balanced beautifully throughout. No giant glob of cheese sitting at the end — every bite had the perfect mix of everything! 😋 🔥
