It’s our daughter’s favorite place and so while in town waiting to grab her tomorrow we thought we would experience what she always talks about. First off I need to say Katie knocked it out of the park on service. She had us laughing and felt like we were right at home from the start. Her suggestions, were my husbands favorite. “If you are out late and want some amazing street tacos then Jaliscos is the place. I had to change the edit on here because one of us guide of Longview Texas claimed Jaliscos was permanently closed. However that is not true. Jaloscos is on fact open because i just ordered for me and the family. Please if you are going to represent our town then leave your opinion for comments or ranks, but do not make the rest of us guides look bad by lying on facts about local business hours, locations, and contact numbers. So yes Jaliscos is opened and i changed it back as a guide because someone lied and said they were closed. Sad..“

I'm not a big fan of breast meat but it was really tasty and juicy. They give you plenty of tortillas and they are freshly made. Definitely will visit them again but next time I'll try something new?“

Inside the décor is about what you would expect from an inexpensive Mexican restaurant: clean and simple. This was my first visit. I had a brief time to get a meal, I was in the vicinity, and this restaurant had been recommended by a friend of the family. I had the Beef Guisa enchiladas, and they were very good. The number and variety of customers suggested that this place has a steady, diverse clientele. In the end, my most relevant comment is that next time I am in this neighborhood and looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, I'll certainly consider El Rincon.“

The cook did well and sad she was under this unhappy employee. Yet, I managed to slip the tip to the cook. Sodas are bottled.The owner and staff are courteous and very helpful. I love they have fresh warm tortillas for purchase to have later. Look, my wife and I found out about this place on a Sunday and by Monday evening we had 3 bowls each. Do you guys remember when chipotle used to load you up and it was cheap? That’s this place now, but with more options. Don’t get me wrong, I like chipotle, but the size and price is so much better here. On Sundays they do 2 large bowls for $15.99 and Monday evenings as well. Plus they literally put your bowl in the oven and toast it if you want. Also, there were two gentleman working in there Sunday 6/30 and let me tell you they were so nice and helpful. Some of the better and friendlier service from them that I’ve had in a long time. Definitely 5 star food and service!“

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“

“Everything was really good. I ordered the beef Tostada Supreme and a small guacamole. I got what I asked for, however, on the small guacamole. It comes in like one of those little tiny pill container cups you get at the hospital. The scoop of guacamole was maybe the size of a table spoon. It was tasty, though.

“I have never had better Taco Bueno than at this location. I live in Kilgore, and Longview bueno is 10/10 so much better. If the owners see this, please figure out why Longview is killing it and apply it to Kilgore location. I ordered a #1, and It was delicious same for quesadilla and party burritos. The same order at Kilgore Bueno is bland. Please commend your staff at Longview for great service and food. And apply some quality control the other locations. Thank you.“
