“This is a low key, family place. No fancy dishes or high prices. Just reliably good food served and prepared by really nice people.I eat there with two groups: breakfast every week and dinner every other week. Plus I go with my family. In all those trips, I have never heard anyone complain or be disappointed. Even those that complained about other places we used to go are happy when they leave.Their traditional Tex-Mex is good: tacos, enchiladas and burritos are as good as you will find in the area. Everyone loves their street tacos and fajitas. Shrimp cocktail is a favorite in the group. Fish and nachos are almost always ordered by someone. And their homemade salsas are hard to beat...especially the green one! That one always goes fast.Their more traditional Mexican dishes are even better. My personal favorite is the Chile Relleno, or maybe the Mole, or Molcajete, or ...And for breakfast you can get all the Mexican favorites, but also some really good pancakes or omelets. And you can pick up some really good avocados and other Mexican produce when paying.“
“Service is a little slow so if you are in a hurry you might get upset. But the food is worth the wait. If you like real Mexican food not tex Mexican. The hot sauce is not for the shy. I love hot sauce and this will raise your temperature.! I love this place. Laid back family owned, and thy have a market also. Try them if your in Winnsboro.“
“The food was surprisingly amazing for this place out in the country. We are from the Fort Worth area visiting a friend who lives in HLR and suggested we go there for dinner. Was not disappointed. I've been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants through my years and loved the flavor and freshness. Great chips and salsa is usually a key. The steak pirtion on the fajitas was huge and well seasoned. Will be having dinner there again before we head back home.“
“We love Tino V's! We usually order take out. It's always hot and well packaged for the ride home. We usually get the special. Great when you suddenly realize you didn't plan anything for supper or are just too tired to cook. Very reasonably priced. Always ready when they tell you how long it will take-usually 15-20 minutes. Kind and friendly staff. Great supportive member of our community.“
“I’ve been here countless times over the last few years. This is one of my go to places in Winnsboro. Good food with excellent service. Great employees that make you feel welcome and will do everything they can to make sure you have a good lunch or dinner with your family.“
“My husband and I would eat here every day if we could! We 100% recommend the king burritos and quesadillas. The food is filling, priced reasonably, and absolutely delicious! With such great customer service, they’re the best place in town!“
“We were told by a friend we needed to try Maria’s Taqueria. After attempting to eat at Haven’s cafe, where we were basically ignored, we went around the corner to Maria’s. Upon entering the taqueria, the place is clean, staff very friendly and the food smells amazing. We were seated and promptly able to place an order. 5 mins later we had a burrito, 2 tacos and chips and salsa on our table. The food is amazing! I will be telling everyone about Maria’s Taqueria. The only thing I would change is that we visited sooner.“
