“I had been to this restaurant several times since it opened for DoorDash orders, but I had never had the opportunity to try it for myself until today. I had never even had a pupusa until today. All of the girls are super nice and even explained everything on the menu for me.The pupusas are absolutely delicious! I, quite literally, got one of every flavor (except pork as I have issues with it) and they were all great! I even got a torta cubano for my husband. I had originally ordered them out, but decided to eat them there. Their green sauce was awesome! I even decided to try the chimi-cheesecakes and omg, they were so cute and utterly delightful! That filling was amazing and the cream and strawberries were just the right accompaniment.I would DEFINITELY recommend trying them out if you haven’t had the opportunity yet or are just in the mood to try something new. I promise that you won’t regret it!“
“My wife has been telling me about Gabby’s Tacos but I have not had a chance to try them until today! Oh my! It was worth going for. The bottles of green and red sauce on The tables were a wonderful compliment to the chips and the tacos. I had tacos de asada and they were excellent! My wife had the chicken tacos and she was singing the praises of those too! I would like to try some more menu items as I’m sure there are more things of goodness on their menu. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!“
“We came June 10th, 2023....the chips and salsa were delicious, we also ordered the guacamole, and that was also good! aguas freacas was good as well. we had the limonada, Jamaica, and Horchata....the Horchata was really good...you can taste it was handmade not made with the instant kind. The food was amazing as well! Definitely will be back!Kid-friendliness: They did have a kids menu... My kid had their chicken nuggets and rice .... But you can change the rice to french fries.“

If you’re looking for a good Mexican food place here in Mt Pleasant that is far superior to the two popular places here then Tequeria Monterrey is what you’re looking for. “This is the absolute best restaurant I've ever been to. Hands down. Better than jalapeño tree. The service was friendly. The salsa was 10/10 delicious!The >>only<< thing i would change is that door bell is so loud.But otherwise anytime my hub asks what I want for dinner it will be this place for sure!“
“Very good, I bought some tacos and I loved them, especially because I added a little bit of gallo and that pico de gallo was delicious because it wasn't spicy, it was just right. The cheese uuff the cheese that I added I also loved it I recommend it excellent “

They FINALLY have a card reader so we don’t have to have cash handy every time.Customer service is great as always, and portions are well worth their quality and price. “I love the Tortilla soup and the Jalapeño Tree Chicken Fajita salad. My husband loves the Fajita chicken quesadillas. It is always so good. The Mount Pleasant location is amazing. The employees are all so nice. The service is great. We recommend it to everyone!“
“Off the beaten path and well worth it. My husband and I were thrilled to see an additional Mexican Restaurant pop up in Mount Pleasant. You can never have an over abundance of variety. The salsa that accompanied the chips had a nice mild flavor. I requested something with a bit more spicy "zing" and enjoyed the dish provided. Very tasty. We ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a spicy seafood dish. Both dishes were great. The sauces served with our dishes pushed the flavor over the top. We finished our dining with a peach bread pudding topped with ice cream. Yummy. The service was a bit on the inexperienced side. The waitstaff were pleasant, they answered all of our questions and filled our requests. The restaurant was clean and had ample lighting. We will return to dine here, and recommend this restaurant to our friends.“
