“I’ve dined at Fuji twice now and have greatly enjoyed both experiences.Both times I’ve come on week nights and sat down immediately, there were just a few others. I sat at a table the first time, and then the sushi bar the next. Both times the servers were very sweet, and service was almost instant. For food I’ve started both times with the house salad, the ginger dressing is great. The first entree I had was the chicken Katsu, it was fried and cooked perfectly with a great crust and juicy, non-fatty interior. The katsu sauce was also traditional and very good. This time I switched it up and got something I never do. When I normally get sushi, I tend to stick to nigiri at high end sushi restaurants, but decided to be random tonight and order a roll. I had the Cajun Cowboy Roll and loved it. To me this isn’t sushi at all, with ingredients such as crab, crawfish, and ribeye steak on top….but I just didn’t picture it as that. I just saw it as a unique surf and turf entree, Texas style. Whatever you want to see it as, I bet you will love it as much as I did. Just overall good experiences I’ve had here.My only suggestion is that it’s super bright inside, dimming the lights a little would be awesome!“
“My wife had a taste for seafood, and we have been here before. But today, Friday, February 2, 2024, it was awesome.Just after three so we missed the luncheon special. No problem! My wife got her two whole catfish with some onion rings and I got catfish filets with sausage jambalaya.Why I did that? (I did not want fries.) But bae-bae, that jambalaya wasn't no joke. We got our food, we were quieter than church mice cause we were eating good!!! I even ate my coleslaw... I don't eat coleslaw!Food and service were absolutely great. Can't wait to come back.“
“This was a pleasant visit. The young lady at the window was very kind and had upbeat energy. The chicken noodle soup was amazing especially since I wasn’t feeling well at the time. Made me feel a lot better. I also tried their mango citrus lemonade (don’t quote me on the actual name) it was delicious!“
“Our new favorite lunch in Longview! Been there 6 or 7 times, and we haven't been disappointed yet. Her Black Bean Burger is the best food of any kind I've ever had!Vegetarian options: Really good food all around, I'm not a strict vegetarian but I like to do meatless meals, and they have great options.“
