Stopped by Letourneau University for a memory lane visit. Had to stop by Bodacious. Haven’t been here in 16 years. Still excellent. Still great flavor. Still worth every bite. Would recommend forever!

Plenty of choices on the menu from sandwiches to plates and combos. Select your meat and scoop sides that you want. Green beans are sweet, creamy coleslaw, soft Mac and cheese, and warm bbq sauce. Don’t forget your white bread slices. I always forget that I can’t eat all of it. Service is great and foods are terrific.

We were in the Longview, TX area for a basketball tournament, and wanted authentic East Texas bbq. This was it! So juicy and savory! Find it if you are in the area. Couldn’t recommend it more!
I'm in from out of town, I had to get Texas BBQ. This place did not disappoint. I had a brisket sandwich, when the young gal was slicing the brisket, juices was oozing out. Suttle hint of smoke, lots of flavor. I have to go back and taste the ribs.

Had the chance to eat at Bodacious when passing thru Longview. The restaurant is a hole in the wall but has the best beef barbecue, potato salad, and beans. I liked the spicy sauce too.Soft drinks are in bottles. Order at the counter, grab all your food and utensils and take a seat at an old table. Then experience some real authentic Texas barbecue.
