I think this place is amazing what else can be said if you haven't been there go there their chicken fried steak is phenomenal and I don't say that easily. I'm really good at cooking and from scratch so when I give kudos to chicken fried steak biscuits and gravy or cheesecake they've done a good job it's all there is to that not saying that this place has all of those but they're chicken fried steak melts in your mouth it's crispy on the outside...
This place has been here since 1984… that has GOT to mean something … this was my second time in Longview and we were here for a friends birthday (a local to East Texas) celebration. They have very large portions for very affordable prices . We got a grilled ham and cheese with a chicken fried steak. And two fountain drinks . Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic , American , local , home grown East Texas delicious eating experience !
This is talk to text, so please excuse the grammar. I ordered Chicken Fried steak, you only have a few options to choose from for sides, which is a baked potato, french fries or onion rings. It was 2 pieces of Chicken Fried steak. I was able to eat one there, and take one with me. Your food comes out on a styrofoam plate and you eat with plastic utensils.
