Drive thru Ribs were tough. Potato salad was a little salty. For that amount money food should be much better. It will be a while before I return. If I do
I decided it was a good day for barbecue, and I wasn’t the only one! I was hungry and as soon as I walked in, my hunger level instantly went up; the smells were out of this world! I joined the line, which was moving smoothly along! There are plenty of meat choices on the menu board, and I decided on a chopped brisket sandwich for carry out. The dining room was roomy and filling up! I can recommend the chopped brisket and the delicious sauce. The portion size was crazy - enough for two meals! I don’t like fatty barbecue, and theirs passes the test! I’m very glad I tried it! Will definitely return!
I had a really bad experience here. I went to check out and the price was almost double what I was expecting because I thought some of the items were on sale. I told the ladies at the checkout that the sign had said BOGOF, if there was a mistake, or if I was mistaken, and instead of asking me where I had found the items or maybe rescanning them she just rudely said “no they aren’t.” And rolled her eyes, and huffed when I asked to take some of the items off because I couldn’t afford all of it. Like I was some kind of inconvenience to her. I didn’t try to argue, that really wasn’t the point of why I had asked. If I was mistaken, no problem. But I’ve worked in retail and costumer service, and if I had spoken to someone the way the two ladies spoke to me I would have gotten reprimanded. It was so embarrassing and so unnecessary. To talk down to me like that in front of my daughter is not a thing I’m trying to relive. As a kids store, I’d think it’d be important to have some manners and not set a bad example for young children.
The ladies at the check out were so nice tysm for your service and I got 2 school shorts and a school shirt and it came to 35 $ great price !
Seems like quite an oversight that a store for kids clothes wouldn’t have any carts to push kids in.
My kids are 6 and 4 yrs old. Since they were born most of their clothes have come from Carter's. I was so excited when Longview got a Carter's Store! Sometimes they don't have the size of clothing in stock that I'm wanting but I can easily hop online and place an order. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Also when I'm in a hurry curbside pick up is great!
So glad they have taken the pandemic seriously and required a mask
Requires a mask even if you have trouble breathing. If you tell them you have trouble, they will tell you to shop curbside or online. So I will just shop elsewhere.
Melanie, manager.. rude...unprofessional and the reason I will Never deal with Oshkosh ever again for gifts..EVER
Manager was extremely rude.. talking loud and very demanding. She lost a very big sale today. It was pouring rain outside and I ran in, being mindful of my umbrella.... All she could do is DEMAND that my mask be on. Never again..

NEW store manager was extremely rude, you will no longer be receiving my business and I will be sure to let all of my family and friends know.
We enjoyed the sliced brisket and the chopped beef. Nest and sauce was a 4, but sides seemed store bought and pickles were so sour that it brought the rating down some. We were satisfied for a quick lunch.
Pandemic procedure- circle around the building and young man approaches your car, takes your order and runs it inside. We had driven 450 miles and wanted a good meal before driving two vehicles back home. Carter's was good choice. Food was great, brisket was 8 on my 10 scale with extra credit for large servings.
I was passing here on my way to Texas best for bar b q and decided to stop because I've heard good things about them. I really like their pickles whole not sliced, hot link sand which and sloppy joe.
Our road trip to Dallas from Birmingham took us through Longview around 6pm on a Saturday night. We were surprised to find most restaurants were about to close. Since our regional BBQ is pork, we were ready to try Texas BBQ. The crew was very friendly, despite the line being out the door most the whole time we were there. The inside is decorated with old clocks and thermometers. My wife got the sliced brisket sandwich. It was very moist but could have been more. The Carter's Special was the deal. It was chopped brisket, topped with onions, links and beans. The links were absoultely incredible.
