DO NOT ORDER THE SHRIMP! They used to have good light breaded REAL SHRIMP. I’m not sure where they pulled this stuff from but it AINT SHRIMP. Doesnt taste like it and on top of that it was over cooked so more burnt taste than anything. Tiny hollow pieces of crust! No shrimp in this!!!! Nothing inside! How can u honestly change your shrimp to THIS MESS and still CHARGE THE SAME $10+ for something that doesn’t even resemble what u DID sell. Go up a couple dollars and serve what u know is good! DONT SELL CRAP AND CHARGE THE SAME PRICE AS QUALITY YOU USED TO SELL! My dog wouldn’t even eat this! Shame on YOU! Probably be changing the fish soon too???? Gordon’s fish , I bet it’s cheaper too. Just run your place into the ground……

The worst customer service. I have never heard someone say they cant make your food the way you asked and payed extra for. Like the rude owner said she owns this place and she does what she want. If your going to sell cajun fish make sure the fish taste like Cajun seasoning. Dont tell a customer that you can give them a cup of seasoning to dip the fish in then I shouldn't have to pay Cajun prices. Then she says she will make it right but never did. I got my all my money back and will never go back there again.

I know this restaurant well. And used to know the founders before they're passing and I know many of the family. I do not live in the area any longer and often long for the opportunity to enjoy catfish when I am in town. unfortunately I had a bad experience tonight as I arrived at the Longview location on Moberly at 8 PM when Google and their signage said they closed at 8:30 PM. I rolled around to the drive-through window after no one spoke to me at the menu and the associate told me they were closed. I. challenge them and said, no it says 830pm to which she replied that's on Friday and Saturday. Which is also incorrect because the signage and Google say they are open till 10 on those days. She then Points in a frustrated way to the man behind her and says well he's the manager, who keeps stating that they are closed and I asked him about the 830 part and he says he has to shut down his registers. He kept trying to talk to him and he would not open the window instead just ignoring me as I shared with him, if your time is at 8 PM then you need to update Google and your signage. he never responded. This type of unprofessionalism is uncalled for. And it's a disappointing way to honor the. Beard family who created this franchise.

I decide to take them up on their free onion rings offer after having not dined there in years because of inconsistency. I got the “regular catch” and all five pieces of fish could’ve passed as chicken tenders because of the chewy texture. I even got into mine in the parking lot because I wanted a fresh piece of fish. It is obvious that the fish was cooked much earlier and reheated (you can’t really hide that fact) - and I was beyond disappointed. The plastic container of beans was warped like it was reheated in a microwave (we all know what that looks like) and the flavor confirmed it. The fries were cold and soggy, and the coleslaw was warm. The onion rings were fantastic though - of course I had to circle the drive through because they actually had to cook those fresh. 1 star for the onion rings - they were great.

Worst customer service experience EVER. ordered my food, they close at 8 but on the website it says 8:30. My boyfriend was in the drive thru and he told them that he threw it away when he clearly handed the person in front of us their food.
