Food was very good, but the only reason why I didn't rate it higher is because of the excessively large amount of breading around the chicken fried steak.
Always sit in the Bar. The service is great and the food is great ? Never had a bad meal ?

Really good atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. We had butter croissants (amazing), cheese curds (amazing), chicken Alfredo (barley any sauce and broccoli over cooked and mushy), and chicken fried steak (barley any flavor but sides were great). Over all it was a decent experience but their main courses could definitely use some work.

Still a decent place to go and the people are friendly, but there have been times where the hold-up wasn't the wait staff or the kitchen, but just getting a hostess to recognize that people were lining up at the door. I've literally seen people walk out because they were never even acknowledged. I have been on the verge of walking out myself. I know it's not a staffing thing because as soon as a host showed up at the stand, they could seat everyone immediately.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of Cheddar’s. I certainly got a taste of the down-home welcome and service. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat was very tender and tasty, but the breading was too thick. I was able to enjoy it in any case.

Cheddar's is always a good choice for lunch or dinner. It's one of the last bastions for foodies that serves a Monte Cristo sandwich. In all honesty, the whole menu, with one exception, is amazing. Apparently, the various kitchen staff can't seem to master the green beans.
