Dark, poor lighting. Order was made with some ingredients left out, sad, said they would make it better next visit. Easy order, I was the only one there. Wasn't worried about next visit, was wanting food to be made as menu said. Sad to watch a decline. And the choice of what was playing for music was hard to listen too. Ear piercing.

Exceptionally amazing pancakes made from scratch (I've heard)! My five year old and I have been in a few times and we don't leave disappointed. The staff and atmosphere give you a warm welcome, almost like home. Go visit this establishment, I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed.

We ended up at City Diner after striking out on a couple other places and boy are we glad we did. Everything is made from scratch including their corn beef hash, which is a rare find! I had the corned beef hash skillet and my wife had the chicken fried steak breakfast and both were fantastic! Our server, Rhoda, was super friendly and attentive and everything was hot and fresh. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in Longview looking for breakfast!

We were looking for a nice sit-down diner to have breakfast and did we luck out. This place is great! At first we thought they were closed because the landscaping is in desperate need of help, but our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The food was good and hot. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in today for lunch while doing a job 2 hours from home. Couldn't have been any more of wholesome experience! I didn't catch our waitresses name but she deserves a bonus lol Clean restraurant (waitress was also cleaning in between check ins staying busy), food was delicious drinks never empty. We will def be back 🙏✌️

Our server was not good. We ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich, had to ask for mayo as it came dry. Ordered salsbury steak with no onions and brown gravy. Came dry, with onions on the side. Not sure why others gave them a good review. We won't be back.
