Today was our first visit to City Diner but will not be our last! We had breakfast and can't say anything negative about the food or the service. Tori is so nice and kept our coffee hot. Our food came out of the kitchen super fast and delicious. We never even knew it was there, I stumbled up on it on a Google search.

The Chef Salad doesn't even come close to being a chef salad.No boiled eggs, no cucumber, no croutons, should be cubed cheese and no bacon bits.Will definitely not recommend or order this again

Starting off, the food preparation is great here, but the service and the atmosphere is horrible. This is one of our family stops per my sister when coming in from Houston. The space is so tight everyone is basically sitting on top of one another. And the fact it feels like we're in the 1950's walking into a all whites dinner. We walked in and everyone just stopped eating it was so funny, we waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment, there were a couple of open tables but it just didn't have a enjoy your breakfast feel that morning. Hate that because the food is very good. We left out and enjoyed our time at Golden Corral. That was our last time stepping in City Diner.

I was hungry than a mug, stepped in, and found on the menu "The Hungry Man" breakfast. I ordered it plus a few pancakes. I wolfed it all down so fast I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I must say service was quite expedient.
Great tasting food , nice portions as well.. and finally great gravy.. 11.5.23... please hire some servers with a personality, the service today was painfully slow. I say thank you every interaction with a staff member, the words "you're welcome" weren't used once.. nor were we thanked for our patronage. I'll return, I'll wait 45 minutes for my food because it's really good quality, but please get some friendly staff .

Really nice. Good portion sizes. Food served hot and quick by very friendly wait staff. Very clean. Lots of parking. Great prices! We'll be back! (Grounds are a bit weedy...but it's ok. Keeps the riff raff out...you know "those" people who have their noses so far up in the air that they'll drown in a good rainstorm...lol)

The food was very bland. I ordered a western omelette and the most flavorful part of my meal was the toast with salted butter spread on it. Everything was cooked well, it just wasn’t seasoned at all. The waitress was very polite, she did not come and check on us to refill drinks (coffee) until my husband had finished eating, though. It was clean with cute hobby lobby decorations on the wall. The price is high for the quality of food. Though the coffee was good, it was not good enough for us to return or suggest it to someone. Honestly a sad testament to why the American diner is dying, being afraid to season or even just salt the food.
