I ordered Thanksgiving meal, and one large stuffing and all the rolls I ordered did not show up with my order! I opened up everything Thanksgiving morning, and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Thanks for partially ruining our Thanksgiving meal. This is the first and will be the last time I order a holiday meal from your store.

Took my family to lunch after church. We ordered the family meal. One large rotisserie chicken, 3 sides, rolls and dessert and four drinks. Chicken was amazing, macaroni and cheese was delicious, ranch style bean were tasty, garden salad was fresh and crisp. The banana pudding was better than mommas. Don't tell her! We ate til we were full and had food left over. All for a fair price. What a great place! We will definitely be returning for more.

Hi there, We’ve mentioned this a few times in different places — even in private messages — but it seems this issue hasn’t really been addressed. Over the past few years (about four years now), the portion sizes — especially the fries — have noticeably decreased. Even when ordering a double fries, we sometimes get barely a handful, maybe 15 pieces.
It feels like “Texas size” doesn’t really apply anymore. When we bring it up, a few random people jump in to say “if you don’t like it, don’t come,” but that’s not the point — we actually love Cowboy Chicken, and that’s exactly why we care enough to share honest feedback.
We understand you may not want to raise prices, but reducing portion sizes isn’t the best solution either. We truly hope management takes this into consideration and brings back the generous portions that made Cowboy Chicken special in the first place.

Update: My last several visits to Cowboy Chicken have been unpleasant. The latest visit was earlier today. After waiting for just over 10 min the food (not a bad wait) came out. We had ordered the chicken enchiladas, twice baked potatoes and the ranchero beans. The enchiladas were cold, the tortillas were hard, the sauce was only slightly warm. The twice baked potatoes were only mashed potatoes nothing like twice baked potatoes I used to love there and they were only slightly warm. The ranchero beans had enough spice to burn out our taste buds, possibly to make up for the lack of flavor and the fact that they were tepid.
The drink area was dirty and sticky.
I am saddened to say that we will not be returning. With the food being cold and lacking flavor it isn't worth going back.
