My wife and I drove over from Tyler today and I probably ate the best smothered pork chop, turnip greens and mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. Highly recommended! Last time I ate country cooking like that was when my mom was alive 5 *****

I don't how we been sleepin' on this place. Even if I came here for JUST the pound cake (that's right I said pound cake), it would still be 5 stars, but we also came for the chicken'n' dumplings, the turnip greens, the fried pork chop, the cornbread, and the koolaid.

Food that slaps with a warm and welcoming group of people running this place. Will definitely be back.

Best food and sweetest staff I've found in a while. This was my first time and the chicken and dumplins, catfish, greens and cornbread where perfection! And the sweet tea is actually sweet!
