The atmosphere was terrible, there was two different types of music playing at the same time. The lighting is so poor, I had to use my flashlight to read the menu. Their menu is so hard to read due to way too many items to choose from and prices were out the roof. I came when they first opened and it was great. I was there today 6/29/2025 and I will not be back!!! They need to get back to the basics of quality food , you need basic enchilada combos, quesadillas menus, tamale combos menus and Fajitas menus as well. I have better food at Tellies Mexican Restaurant. I’ve never had a bad meal there!!!
Love this restaurant.
They need to fix their closing time on Sundays. If y’all want to close before 7:00pm then put on the hours that yall close before then. I tried calling I don’t know how many times since 5:58pm, I drove up there just to see cars pulling out leaving before 7:00pm. I will be contacting whoever is the general manager. This is ridiculous.
This Mexican food is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. The rice and beans were not just meh, but the spices and prep were so good even the usual sides were delicious. Fajita chicken, shrimp, and tamales were standouts. Tamales were the best in town. Margaritas were very good. Wait staff were all friendly and accommodating.
I would like to give thanks to the staff that helped me with my order last night. I have to eat gluten free and soy free, and the staff showed concern and the cook even came out to check with me to make sure that was the only allergy. With this new allergy issue, eating is very different for me and has me a bit frustrated, but the act of kindness I witnessed last night at El Sombrero was very uplifting. Thank you El Sombrero.

Delicious food, great margs, good people
They suck now. Forgot my tortillas with my fajitas. And pretty much the entire order was missing stuff requested. Food is also tasting more sub par than anything. I Get it together. It would be different if it was the first time.
Great service, great food, a smidgen pricey, but not horrible. I'd definitely go again.
Most the time we have a great experience when we dine in. In fact, can’t think of a time we’ve dined in and didn’t have a good time.
This recent visit was for carry out and as far as our orders being right, I give it a 100%.
But to pay almost $20 for the Nacho’s Gringos plate and get a small dish with a couple chips, with cheese and beef tossed into it, is absolutely wild to me… a dish like this is barely worth $10. Felt awful for my mother because that was her “dinner” for the night.. if we can call it that. It’s more so an appetizer, at best.
It’s disappointing because usually we get more food than we can handle and end up taking home leftovers!
Hopeful that our next visit will be better, as it should be considering the amount of money we spend to eat here.

Customer service was great. My waiter was amazing. The food was good.
Food and service was very bad
First time being here at the new place. Went to the old location and it was on par. The food was just ok. We had to tell our waiter we ordered white queso 3 times and he never brought it but charged us but corrected it on the ticket. Do better.
Big shout out to the manager and staff. The atmosphere was great and food was great.
One of my favorite places in town. The food is ahhhhmazing and the staff are great at their job. They're always welcoming and ready to serve you.
