Love the coffee better than Starbucks
Good service
Ridiculously delicious coffee!I’m from 44 years in Chicago and I KNOW great coffee. Mugs coffee is stout and tasty. Got a Cappuccino with Hazelnut and it was like home. The ONLY coffee I’ve had in Longview that actually tastes heavy enough for me. The disinterested employees are a theme here but their training shows in the finished product.Outstanding roast on their coffee. Do yourself a favor go for the coffee not the customer service. ?
I have been to Joe Mugs enough to give what I think is an honest review. I have honestly loved everything I’ve had, but I will admit that my order has been made wrong a few times, and I don’t change up how things are supposed to be made. It honestly depends on the barista. Some baristas are phenomenal and have great people skills while others seem like they don’t want to be there at all (which I know it’s possible they didn’t apply to work the coffee bar, but that’s no excuse for poor customer service). It can take awhile to get a drink made sometimes, but I think that depends on the time of day, like shift changes, busy hours, etc. Rarely do I see more than one person working behind the bar too.All in all, I think there could be some changes, but overall I like it and will come back to enjoy the atmosphere and good drinks.
It was my first time grabbing coffee here. Rae was the barista and she gave great customer service! She was very busy yet remained calm and professional and was very kind. Will be back!
Great coffee, good service, peaceful atmosphere
Good coffee, nice patio and friendly staff.
I can't express my love for this place properly. Coffee, books, and a peaceful atmosphere. Their frappes are my favorite. Best coffee shop in town in my personal opinion.

If they ask you to donate a toy or book, say no. They save your card information without your consent and give it to a 3rd party magazine company.
To me this place is 100% better than Starbucks the people who give it one star are just haters
Good coffee, relaxed environment, usually people here to talk with.
It’s always good when they have a cafe inside a bookstore. This one is inside Books-A-Million. Joe Muggs Coffee offers both cold and hot drinks, from gourmet coffee to teas. They also have bottled water & juices. And they do have pastries to enjoy with your beverage. They have several tables to accommodate a lot of customers, plus patio seating. The employees are friendly and service is fast.
I am from out of state and I always stop in Longview Texas Books A Million - renew my membership card and enjoy a smoothie. However this stop into your store your barista was enjoying an side conversation with what appeared to be her boyfriend/ fiancé. She asked me what I wanted, since I did not see smoothies under the cold drinks I asked if they still served smoothies she answered rudely NO - and tried to convince me to purchase one of your new lemonade drinks which I was not interested in. I went and sat down at an table where the female barista clearly said mango smoothie & iced chi. I thought maybe she didn’t understand what I asked for so I sent my niece to ask if they sold smoothies and a male barista had said yes and sold her one. I refuse to spend money in an establishment that employs rude people and people who will lie right to your face.
