RUN do not walk to Judd's! We went in last night with a party of 13, and received wonderful, attentive service. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive and patient, and made sure we knew if there were delays in receiving any of our food and why. They have a large variety of elevated food on the adult menu, but great options for kids as well. My 6 year old daughter was ecstatic they offered PB&J as it was the first time we've ever seen it on a kids menu. (Genius by the way.) Like everything else, however, it was no ordinary PB&J, it was toasted on thick bread and the PB and were melted and delicious. I had the Black and Bleu Flatbread, and it might be the best food I've ever had in a restaurant. We all left fat and happy, and I had leftovers for lunch today! (Just as delicious) Can't wait to go back, hubby and I are already thinking about a date night!♥️

Food was good but the price of the drinks was nearly price gouging. I mean OUTRAGEOUS Prices! A Single jalipeno margarita was $15. I figured maybe $5 for an extra shot but Nope! $9!!! one double margarita was $24! we didnt see the extravagant price for the double marg on the menu anywhere and our waitress didn't bother telling us. Thank God it was payday. Wife and I had 2 drinks each and spent $96 + tax just on booze. Go there for food.....if you're Bill Gates have one for us. :)
I ordered a black and blue salad. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The lettuce is rotten and covered in slime, onions are mush, croutons soggy, but the meat. The meat was the worst part. First they claim they made it fresh, when the meat was freezing cold. You can tell when meat gas been refrigerated. So I called to let the restaurant know. I myself own a restaurant and would definitely want to be made aware of the problem that way I have the opportunity to fix the problem. Not Judd's though. After sitting on hold, Becky gets on the phone with an immediate attitude. Then proceeded to act like I was lying. I told her I can bring it up there and show you and I also have pictures of the rotten food. This sent her over the top so she began yelling. So I let her know they lost a customer. She said she could careless so I hung up. Don't waste your hard earned money on a place that cares so little about the customers and quality control.

Food was good, staff was super friendly, but a $37 old fashioned???? Yes, you read that correctly $37. They claim they only serve doubles. Never again.

We’ve been in before for dinner and it was decent. Yesterday my husband & I went for lunch. The two hosts were sitting in a booth, playing on their phones. We walked in & one jumped up and ran over. We go to the bar & the bartender is sitting at the end of the bar on her phone. Not for just a couple minutes, for a while. She never even noticed us until someone else sat next to her. She gets up & immediately goes to him. When she finally noticed us she says “you guys snuck in on me” well it’s easy to do with your face buried in your phone… when did it become acceptable to play on your phone while you should be working? We drove in from Tyler for this place. Two hour round trip wasted. It’s ok, we won’t be doing it again.

Order a side Salad with egg rolls. Brown lettuce. I hope you guys check your lettuce before serving. This was horrible. I said to myself I hope the lettuce is fresh but brown. At work can't do anything about but except it as a bad experience. Wish you all the luck. But serving brown lettuce. Do better

I Wanted to try it out because of word of mouth . The Environment was clean and looked nice, my server was very attentive. The food was bland.. the steak tasted like water, the “mac and cheese” looked and tasted more like mashed potatoes 🥹.. the tea and salad were good tho!

Food - Filet mignon had not much flavor and they drizzled some maroon sauce all over it which made it worse. Our guest had same steak and was not impressed. He also had a side of fries that were served cold. The garlic shrimp appetizer was gross and mostly tasteless. The mashed potatoes were not good.
Service - not satisfactory. Asked waitress if they could turn up the temp as we all thought it was cold in the dining area. Ladies at a few tables away also appeared cold. Waitress came back after asking manager and said they couldn’t turn the thermostat up as it would cause the floor to get slippery. Gee, thanks for taking care of your customers. Also, they charged $44 each for the steaks when the menu said $36. And they added an automatic 20% tip for our party of 4. Not deserved in this visit.
Atmosphere - loud and echoey, too cold and overall unappealing.

I wanted to like Judd’s based on the Google pictures of what looked like delicious food. I also hate giving less than positive reviews, especially to local businesses. Unfortunately, our service was terrible, breakfast took almost 30 minutes even though there were only a few other patrons, food was cold when finally received (no doubt it sat for a long while, so maybe it was the server's fault not the kitchen's), server forgot my drink until I had almost finished my meal, and finally the portions were small compared to price.
I truly hope they hire more attentive, experienced servers because most everything else can be forgiven. I'd go back to a nice restaurant with great food even if it were over priced or had small portions, IF the service made up for it.
Some positives... The food had great flavor and presentation, and the restaurant had nice ambiance. With a few strategic improvements, this place has the potential to be great.

Enjoyed the food. The hostesses were typical young adults not taking their jobs seriously. Not greeting people as they entered. In conversation with each other instead.

Went here today for the first time. If it works out, I would come here often after work on Fridays. Location, menu and atmosphere-wise it's the perfect place to treat myself when I am in the mood to do so.
Things got off to a bad start when they left me unapproached after seating for about 15 minutes. Since I was there between the times that most people eat lunch or dinner, there were only three other groups dining in the restaurant. However, once I finally decided to make something happen, no one was out in the restaurant or even at the bar. I had to wait outside the kitchen door for a moment until someone came out when I politely explained having been forgotten. They felt really terrible and worked hard to make this up to me, so that is good news.
From this point forward, they took great care of me. Love that you can choose spring mix for the side salad instead of traditional lettuce! And it comes with hearty shreds of parm. Everything was fresh. I ordered the honey orange glazed grilled salmon served with jasmine rice and grilled veg. I was expecting the salmon to be grilled, but it seemed more steamed? And it was not at all dry, very tender and juicy, but cooked through instead of medium or medium rare, but it was delicious nonetheless. There was something off about the glaze; it's possibly normally yummy, but it had a weird taste - maybe burnt? Anyways, I scraped it off, and everything else was a treat! The jasmine rice was spot on in terms of texture and flavor. The veg had onions throughout which was a nice touch and the seasoning was perfection. I ate every bite! The manager came by at the perfect time to check on my experience. I did not say one word about the glaze, because I did not want to complain twice in one visit! Normally I would politely mention something like this just so they know.
I did not order any cocktails because it was, like, the middle of the day - LOL. BUT I was impressed that they had a nice cocktail menu right on the table with signature drink choices. Seriously, I do not know why every restaurant does not do this, leaving patrons to flounder aimlessly at what to order, or stick with a "go-to" cocktail. Cocktails signature to a restaurant make the dining experience way better IMO! And can make the restaurant more money. Win, win.
I will try this restaurant again one Friday. I would like to try some other items from their menu, and would even order the salmon again - with glaze on the side - to see if mine today was a fluke. I am hoping for awesome, because this place would be impressive for meeting a visitor for lunch or dinner if they have never been to Longview!

Judds Downtown is definitely one of the top spots in town. It’s got that perfect blend of laid-back and high-end vibes, which makes it a great place to relax while still feeling like you’re treating yourself. The food has been consistently amazing—I haven’t had a single dish I didn’t like yet. The downtown atmosphere adds a nice touch, giving it a cool, vibrant energy. Last time I went, we had a large party, and they accommodated us with ease. The service was solid, and the food was top-notch. If I had to nitpick, the prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality they’re delivering. Definitely a great spot to check out!
