Cooper 1st Automotive Had There Christmas Party There. We Had A BLAST! Food Was Great And There Was a Live Bad. I Plan On Going Back.

Good food. Friendly staff. This was my first visit. Large open area set up for work parties, etc. Nothing fancy. Enjoyable dinner.

FYI this is not a kid friendly restaurant. They will still allow kids inside to eat. Just beware what comes with this is dirty looks and passive aggressive attitudes from the staff. Weird place.

Grade A+ food in an old fashioned good ol honky tonk! Fantastic steaks!

I been to Leon’s before but I don’t go often as there are a few things I cannot stand . First off you can eat in main area due to cigarette smoke . Second even if you go to back room you can still smell smoke and your food will have cigarette smell and taste . I went last night and the smoke made me get such a bad headache i realized this is just a place for smokers . The food usually was good in past but now it nolonger makes sense . I ordered a steak sandwich which came with pieces of cube steak that wouel not stay in sandwich . Why cube ? Why not slice it so I can eat my sandwich . My hands were constantly putting my meat back into sandwich . I asked for med rare steak but got well done steak which was way over cooked making the meat hard . Forget about feee refills they only serve canned soda at 1:50 each . Takes two sides to fill their size cups which is a normal cup you get at a restaurant. So takes four sodas to have two cups . That’s 6 bucks . So I ordered two sodas and then asked for water . The darkness of the back room was kinda depressing and being on cement floor made me feel like I was in a back alley . The out dated chairs gave me a bingo vibe . I’m sure when bands are there it must be nicer . This place caters to the smokers and it shows . I felt liek a unwanted guest the whole time and felt left alone in back . Waitress was not the friendliest but she is also quite young . I wanted to live this place because I remember having a good steak here before . I think that was in the past and will stay forever that way. I don’t get why they don’t create laws for establishments who serve food to have people smoke outside so food is not tasting like ciggs . I guess this is a steakhouse meant for the smokers .

I don’t know if I’ll ever have a reason to be in Longview , Texas again but if I’m ever within 100 miles of it, I will make a detour just to go have one of these steaks………. and as if it couldn’t get any better, Koe was playing on the jukebox and I didn’t even play it.

Arrived at 12:30. 30 mins went before waitress took our food order or even checked for drink refills. Once our order was placed another 25 mins went by without anyone checking on our table. I had to flag down different waitress for refills and food was never brought out. A BLT is not a difficult or time consuming dish.

Apparently a big lunch party was on the patio.(Be prepared if you're going to allow that at lunch rush hours.) A big party still should not take away from your other customers!! The absolute worst service!!! I generally brag about Leon's, but today I was thoroughly disappointed. Will be a long time before I go back.

After an hour and talking with 3 different employees we left with no food, after watching those that came in after being served!
