I love LJS, but these stores have all declined or closed altogether. I hate this - there are not any fast food fish/shrimp restaurants anymore. I drive an hour away to eat here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND driving thru or you will walk out (septic and lack of upkeep of the building). Staff were very nice and helpful.

We don't have a Long John Silvers where we are from. My husband and I were excited to find out that Longview had one, so we stopped on our way through. We were very disappointed. When you walk in, it smells like rotten eggs. Dining area wasn't very clean. Then, our food tasted like it had been left over and sitting out for awhile. Chicken was dry, batter on the fish was slimmy and undercooked. However, the shrimp was good. The lady that waited on us was friendly but seemed like she couldn't get it together. This definitely ruined us from wanting to eat at another Long John Silvers.

Whoever the young lady is who is working the drive-through today ought to be the manager. Give her a raise. If you sit down and write out a plan of EXACTLY the way you'd want a drive-through employee to act and treat you, you still wouldn't have a plan as top notch as this lady's service was. I don't know her, but whoever hired her and/or trained her nailed it. If I had a job opening in your industry, I'd wallet whip her and take her from you.
