During a previous visit, I observed the staff beginning their closing procedures an hour before the official closing time, which included removing all food from the cooler and leaving it out at room temperature. Concerned about the potential health risks, my spouse and I opted not to place an order. After providing feedback on their survey regarding this issue, the management reached out, apologizing and urging us to give them another chance, assuring us that the problem would be addressed. Despite their reassurances, upon my return, I encountered the same concerning practices. This repeated experience leads me to believe that the management might need a more thorough review of their closing procedures to truly prioritize health and safety, and ensure customer concerns are not only heard but acted upon effectively.

Good was good but came out luke warm due to it being so cold in the building. I bet it was 55 degrees in the customers seating area. It was freezing! It was 53 degrees outside. We had to get a box to go eat in the car.

They stopped having roasted garlic, and the tea is weak. Sad to witness this decline.

Can't say enough about this unique place to eat. Try the potato salad-the best I've ever had. (Except for my Aunt Jane's!) The service was way above average. We had the sweetest server. She was so nice and recommended the cake that turned out to remind me of my mother's. It was the caramel yellow cake. Try it. You'll never regret it. This us the Longview Newk's. Best place ever!

Out of the newks locations I've visited, this by far is the best one. Everything is tasty and fresh. They do not skimp out on the ingredients on pizzas (i have ordered pizzas from the bossier city LA location and got maybe 4 shrimp on a pizza before, with paid for extra shrimp). This location if you pay for extra ingredients, you will get what you pay for. It is always nice and clean, i think every time we've stopped here, an employee will be cleaning the restroom and wiping down with disinfectant (restrooms are also usually super clean). Also, very quick service and all of the employees are super friendly. If you are reading this in November 2023, the chicken and dumplings soup is so good. I really like that the dumplings remind me of like potato gnocchi. Newks as a whole company has revamped some things with their menu and app, so if you haven't tried them in a while, give them a try again now.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, and easily customizable
Used to be consistently good. I don't know WHAT happened. Best potato soup around except I found out they quit "rendering the bacon." That means they don't cook it!! Uncooked or even undercooked pork can cause some serious health issues. I have ordered the potato soup with "rendered bacon" only to find white, uncooked pieces of bacon in the soup. So, I tried ordering without bacon, but it still had that gross uncooked bacon in it. When I asked a manager about it, she told me this: "Corporate told us we no longer render the bacon unless someone asks." I've checked with a friend in the restaurant business, and she was horrified! I have sent 2 messages to corporate, with no response. Maybe they will pay attention to this.
