I was super excited to try it. Originally wanted to try in Shreveport, but I had to hit the road. They offered a special so we grabbed that and added on sides and drinks. I got the mixed box, & added jalapeños. On the side we ordered Cajun rice, red beans and rice, and the corn grits. For drinks we had a Dr Pepper and a strawberry pop. Not sure if they had a walk up window. I walked up and never got greeted so I went threw the drive threw an wasn't really thrilled about the food. It was cooked to long and mashed potatoes tasted older then a day or so.
Been to two other locations in Louisiana and this is the best one out of the three. Guy at the walk up counter who took our order was one of the most respectful workers I’ve met. Wife stated the same. Chicken is just as great as I remember and the red beans and rice was phenomenal. No place to dine in but no big deal. Would run Popeyes out of business if it expanded further imo. Big shout out to the manager and employees that run this!
