Food trucks are the best! Local people bringing high quality food right to us. BBQ is not an easy culinary field to tackle but Sunbird has done it. I loved their sauce and sides just as much as their meats.
Sunbird Barbecue is a winner! Fantastic barbecue and sides - my favorite is the burnt ends, they rotate what they are marinated in and so far it has not mattered...the last time I had the Arnold Palmer soaked burnt ends, which was a definite game winner. The Mac and cheese is perfect. The ribs, brisket, and pulled pork wow! The pit is right behind the food truck. They will soon open their restaurant, which will make this easier to access as it will be in downtown Longview.

Great brisket. Read some bad reviews and was nervous. Big portions. Bun wasn’t wet. No fat beyond the normal expectation. The bun is toasted. The sauce was good and spicy. The place was clean and many in line. Customers and staff acted respectable and kind. Good place and well recommended..
