“This eatery is easy to find.We celebrated my nephew’s birthday there. Our waiter was great. We were a table of 8 and they seated us in a very awkward spot. I kept feeling people’s rears as they walked past to and from the bathroom etc.?The nopalitos with cheese and chicken in the pic was amazing. The food was good, the wait time, not so much. Oh and the poblano soup was amazing. They were amazing and brought out a slice of chocoflan for the birthday boy without us asking. I will definitely be back to try the tapas.Go to Gazpachos I think you’ll like it!“

“This local Mexican restaurant has been around for decades and it's a popular place for locals and visitors alike, since it's on the main road and on the way to South Padre Island. We decided to give it a try on a Friday since now they are open Thursday and Friday until 8p.m. instead of closing at 4p.m. I got the entomatadas plate with rice and beans and the overall flavor was pretty good. My husband got the fish plate that comes with salad and French fries. Depending on how much fish they have on any given day, they have an all you can eat fish deal. Our server Erika was friendly and helpful. Julia the owner was around and took a few minutes to talk to us. We went pretty early, 4p.m., so there weren't that many people there but as we were leaving, more people were starting to come in. The atmosphere is somewhat quiet and everything looked clean. Too bad they don't currently have a liquor license and they ran out of flan, which I wanted to try.“
