Stopped on our way home from the beach and OMG, that really hit the spot! As soon as we come in the staff greets you with a huge smile. Our waitter was great, very polite and not overly asking every 5 mins if we needed something, I loved that. Ordenamos la papa, flautas y orden de tacos, y todo estaba delicioso!! un sabor de las calles de Mexico.
These are the best Matamoros-style tacos I’ve had on this side of the border. They may be small, but they’re bursting with flavor, and the salsas take them to another level. One of my personal favorites is the jicama al pastor taco, where they use jicama instead of a tortilla—definitely a must-try. I also love that they serve Mexican soda in glass bottles.
We had the taco truck @ the Cameron Amphitheater last night, and they were hands down the best street tacos we have ever had! Wish we had one close to us, next time we are in the area we will def be back! Absolutely wonderful!
