Food has lost its soul it's an ok place service is also pretty good can't complain been coming here since it opened and can tell it went from a really good food and affordable meals to just your average restaurant and pretty pricey, no diff from bigos or anything similar
I wrote my college thesis on this place, due to it being the best restaurant within 15,000 miles (yes that covers the entire world)and the topic of my college thesis was:"How good can a restaurant get? The Texi Mexi Story"This place might as well be placed on Fifth Avenue in New York City, with prices of $30 per taco, because that's what most people would be willing to pay for this place after they have tried their tacos. Thank Heavens it isn't in New York...
We are a non Mexican family visiting the island and stopped because we were hungry and enjoy fresh food. Omg the food was authentic and delicious with flavor. I have never enjoyed Texas food like I did this place. They were extremely kind as well.
Kid-friendliness: We have an small child that is hard to handle and they did not make us feel out of place. My other children they treated just as well.
