We haven't been to Blue Sky in a long time. We had a great experience. If you like juicy burgers then this is the place. Onion rings and fries are the bomb. We will definitely be going back there.

Reinnerating what a friend posted because Customer Service is a HUGE deal to me! Being a business owner myself! Tuesday we walked in at 8:40pm Right away at the register, the brunette with glasses was extremely rude and made it a point to tell me they close at 9pm. I said oh ok sorry I didnt know it says 10pm on google, she said its 9 and says so on the door... I said ok, she then says yall can still.order and eat. I said ok then I want and proceeded to order for my husband and I. Then our friend with us ordered. We sat at a table waited a bit for our food and did try to hurry because we knew they wanted out of there.By the time we finished eating it was 9:14pm she continually walked by our table looking at her watch.I really wanted to say we are trying to hurry, although I didnt say anything. So 9:14pm we are done and wrapping it up and I pulled out my vape just having it in my hand not even using it st this point and she said You can't vape in here.I looked at her and said ok... she stood against the counter watching us the whole time which was uncomfortable also...She was ready to go!

Female brunette cashier with glasses had an attitude that was very aggressive. She mentioned to my friends that they were closing at 9pm. Giving that there were other customers that arrived after we did, yet they did not get the same aggressive tone that we received. As we were leaving she snapped at my friend because she had a vape and told her that she could vape. Afterwards she kept checking her watch. I have never witnessed this behavior towards myself or anyone I was with when eating here in the past. She was very unprofessional and on that note my friend was not aware nor was I that you couldn’t vape in this establishment.

First time experiencing Blue Sky, not really impressed. They messed up our order and when I let the girls know they just looked at me, no apologies I had to ask if they can fix it, when my receipt was correct the cook staff just didn’t make it right, also ordered queso and chips before our order and it came with our order and the bowl of queso was not even filled up all the way. As for The food didn’t seem to have much tastes. Don’t feel like I will be back anytime soon.

I visited this location twice today, once as a Door Dasher and the second as a guest. Both times, I was treated horribly.
When I came around 5pm to pick up a door dash delivery, the bartender was so completely rude and inconvenienced by my presence and job picking up food. What a horrible interaction that left me feeling humiliated.
I came back this evening for dinner with my husband. We just moved back after being away for 15 years and I was excited to bring him in to try the amazing food. We walked in at 9:05 and the employee behind the counter was visibly annoyed. In fact, there were three employees just standing and talking when we walked in. Instead of a greeting when we walked in, she immediately told us the restaurant closed at 10. Mind you, it was only 9:05. What a terrible way to be greeted, especially when you were excited for dinner here all day. I am not sure I will ever return as a guest here, which is sad.

And after asking around, Blue Sky was the most mentioned. And surely multiple Lubbockites (that I don’t really know) can’t be wrong. One did suggest Five Guys and we forgive her (not that I’m against a Five Guys burger - but it’s not what I want to try when I’m visiting your city). Blue Sky is packed after a game (but I’m sure Chili’s is too) even though we traveled to the location about 94 blocks south of campus. The made-in-house burger is flavorful and juicy but could be cooked just a little less in my opinion. The homemade bun is delicious. There’s a sign above the register that schools you in the assembly of their burgers - what comes on it and in what order. I loved this just as much as I love a well-written email (especially because it had a little zing). I’d give the burger an A- on flavor. The chips and queso, which I felt like I took a risk on, were real good. But what really won me over was the tea bar (my own term for this little Promised Land tucked between the Coke machines). There’s coconut, peach, lime green, and black tea - all available in sweet and unsweet. Just like a mini HTeaO right there in this burger joint. The coconut was my fave. Thanks Lubbockites for sending us to a “new” burger joint that didn’t disappoint. Cheers to Blue Sky Texas for a great burger and a selection of iced tea that beats nearly any other! #theburgertrail #texasburgers
