Heard about an authentic Brazilian açaí here in Lubbock and immediately wanted to try it. It was so worth it. Service was great, and the açaí very good. Looking forward to go back to it!

Food was okay, but kind of expensive considering the taste. Nice atmosphere.

There was a young girl who took forever making our açaí “bowls” which turned out to be half filled cups. The açaí blend was well frozen and raw oats were carelessly thrown onto the dish. Wish I could’ve photographed how little food we received at a premium price tag. Definitely would not recommend. If you want açaí, go to vitality bowls. They have a much better atmosphere and portion size.

So, I never really leave reviews, but this is ridiculous. I've been to bomb brazil twice and both times have been not great. My first time I went in store. There was a young girl working at the time and she had a hard time with my order for whatever reason. I asked for a bowl with part coconut and part acai at her suggestion. I told her my toppings. She informed me they were out of granola that day. I said thats fine. I then told her I wanted to order another bowl exactly the same as the first but without the coconut base. That seemed to confuse her because she scratched out "coconut" on the first order and didn't write a second one down. I informed her I meant to order a second bowl with the same toppings just not the coconut base. It took her a min to realize what i meant, but she understood I thought. When she went to make the half acai half coconut bowl she only put coconut and I had to correct her. Instead of throwing out the cup she made she scooped the coconut base BACK into the original container. Now this doesnt bother me too bad because i fifured it only went from the container to the cup and back, but I do know thats a health violation. I asked for strawberries in both bowls and did not receive them. I asked for coconut shavings in both and only got them in one. I corrected that before I left. It was just awkward in general and i had to correct my order a few times. I gave her grace and decided maybe she was having an off day. She was really sweet about everything. Then my second time I ordered through grub hub. First, I don't like the way they have their menu set up through grubhub or doordash. You are not able to really customize your order. You can only do one fruit on top. So I ordered a medium acai with their Pao de queijo. The Pao de queijo was not cooked AT ALL. They literally gave it to me straight out of the freezer. I have never had them before so I took a bite and it was disgusting. Did not taste cheesy at all. Then my acai cup was severely lacking in toppings.

I'm exhausted just typing this ha. Their acai is really good it's the rest that is deterring me from ordering again.

I decided to try this place after meeting the owner Lorna at Toasted Yolk where I was eating due to them having great gluten free options. She told me they were entirely gluten free as well. This is not the case. Their granola, Nature's Path brand, while it has no gluten ingredients in it, is produced in a facility that handles wheat too. I did try their coconut "bowl" (its a cup), without granola ?, which was delicious. Hope you can fix this by when I'm in town next. Also maybe try some preconfigured menu options instead of making every bowl a custom build.
