I'm a trucker in Lubbock of all places for a few weeks. Lubbock is a nice area for family owned business and community people, but too drastic of a change compared to Atlanta. Anyway, I was craving good food the whole time I was there. I finally looked to Google search for help and found this place. I'm a pizza head so this was just what I was looking for. I read the reviews and started navigation. It was early lunch time and the place was quiet. I placed my order, and when the first pizza came out, it looked & smelled so good I ordered another for the road since it was the last day of my contract. The pizza lives up to the 5star reviews, I love the crust. The sauce was thin on the pizzas which made it seem dry if it's not piping hot, so enjoy while it's hot!

Doordash never ever gets helped here they make you wait soo long.....if order are called in yes then your order is ready but for Doordash you have to wait and apologize to customer for them taking soo long this needs to be fixed....... ....
I shouldn't have to take a business off my delivery list our customers should be important as well!!! They do pay for their meals we have to apologize to our and your customers that should be important to a business it was not busy. My order said ready by 7:41 I left for there at 8 15 no that's insane just hoping this would be fixed for the customers not for me. And for they girls to ask if I had a doordash and say they will go check and come back and don't say one word to let me knw they were working on the order no communication at all but walk right past me time and time again!!!

Meh…we ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza was very greasy and the cheese/pepperoni kept sliding off each slice. Like the all of the cheese/pepperoni would just slide right off.
The pizza rolls though were AMAZING. Huge rolls of deliciousness. The Greek Salad was a really nice portioned bowl.

Great pizza but extremely slow. So so slow. I cannot express how slow this place is. If you plan to sit down for a pizza you better have a solid 2.5 hours. We were 1 of 3 tables taken up in the entire restaurant so it wasn’t like they were jammed packed.

ummm it’s not that great in my opinion. Others may be different, but i’ve lived in the area for years now and have visited and gotten delivery from them many times and have never though “mmm this hit the spot” I’m really sorry Capital, your workers are nice and the atmosphere is great it’s just the food is not that good. I’ve tried the salads, sandwich’s, and pizza all with the same verdict.

Haven't been in awhile. Friendly staff, good pizza and salad.
This pizza place has some tasty food. I'd definitely recommend the gf cheese bread, the house salad and the smokehouse pizza regular crust. Saturday is all day happy hour by the way. The large crust on the pizza reminds me of Colorado pizza places and there was plenty of toppings on it. The house salad is good for the price and tasted fresh. The only down sides are that they charge for extra ranch without telling you, I don't mind paying for it I'd just like them to say it's extra and they add on a credit card processing fee.

As a Lubbock local I’m very disappointed in service and quality today. We’ve always enjoyed the occasional trip over to tech terrace just for Capital. Today we walked in and the smell was pretty noticeable, but it’s always good pizza so we ignored it. After finishing our dinner and putting food in containers we found a dead fly on the bottom of my salad bowl. I had already ran my card, no problem I told the waitress and she said she would take care of it. A few minutes later she can back and advised the manager was only able to refund the salad ($6) on a $90 bill. Again no problem BUT the fact that the manager didn’t even come over to apologize or acknowledge there was an issue is the BIGGEST issue for me. We also watched several other locals walk in and walk right back out due to the odor. Do better, train better. Service goes a long way.
