Absolute staple of Lubbock– you must try them! Anything on the menu is delicious, but some of my favs are the green chile cheese chicken fried steak, their queso, and their burgers. They have wonderful staff and the best atmosphere.
Still the same great place that it was back during undergrad over 20 years ago. There are a lot of good reasons it’s still around while a lot of other places have shut down. Recommend the queso burger and fries, plus a schooner of Shiner to wash it down.
Frozen chicken strips with no flavor with way overcooked twisted taters for $15.99 Should have sent it back but didn’t have time.
I’ll continue to go there, just not order chicken strips.
