I have to say this is definitely a hidden gem the place doesn’t look all that great but it’s like a little hole in the wall where the food is authentic and absolutely delicious and these people where so friendly we ordered a few dishes and shared them with my daughter we were in aww what a fantastic place to eat definitely worth it we will definitely be back

I DoorDash an order from here and was sorely disappointed. I used to go here all the time in college and had good memories, but this experience has soured those.The eggrolls were burnt and dry. They also arrived in a plain paper bag, which seems very unsanitary.
The chicken pad Thai only had one shred of chicken in it, the egg was not broken up into the rest of the dish, and there were dry herbs in the corner of my container. They were not incorporated into the food during the cooking process.
I ordered from here because I was trying to support their business with all of the construction going on 19th St. This was very low quality food, and I’m surprised that they even sent it out like this. Maybe they deserve to close. I will never order from here again.

Not sure if there's a difference ordering directly but the fried rice i ordered through grubhub had very little protein, it's 99% rice... for the price it's a rip off

Best food in Lubbock,it's small so if you have a lot of people plan on taking it out. The owner and his wife have the best customer service!! The only problem is the city of Lubbock with the road work . Please support this business.
Hands down the best pad Thai I have ever had. Stopped there on my drive across the country a couple of years ago. Went out of my way to drive back through hillbilly Lubbock just to eat at choochai. I would and will fly to Lubbock just to eat the pad thai. It’s simply one of the best!

This was always my favorite place growing up. It was missing something this last visit. I tested a bit more of a vinegar taste than I have ever noticed before, but still my favorite. I hope they get a chance to do some updates. There is a lot of construction in the area.
