This place is definitely worth the hype! Everything was really fresh and the donuts were soft. I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake donut and the chocolate croissant, super tasty! I went at 11am and there was still plenty to pick from, but some things were sold out so I'd recommend going earlier if you want something in particular.

I have been going to this donut shop for years and let me tell you, this year they have been pushing and mastering the perfect size, texture, and straight up delicious donut in Lubbock!!!! The bear claw is hands down the biggest, fluffiest, and TASTIEST in the entire Lubbock area!!

I absolutley love this place! The donuts taste amazing and I would say are the best in the city. I have tried other local shops and this one blows the other ones out of the park. You can actively taste how good the donuts are and can feel the love that is put into them. Definitely try them out!

Total hidden gem. There were so many goodies I had trouble deciding and the staff is so incredibly kind and had a ton of patience for this picky customer. I got the chocolate croissant, lemon blueberry fritter, and the powdered donut with strawberry and cream cheese. Each were amazing in their own way. I will be back.

Y'all. In addition to being the best fluffiest gigantic donuts in town, TXDoT is doing everything they can to put these people out of business. Please go support this small business and don't be deterred by the blocked off drive, they are VERY much open and AMAZING.
Absolutely worth the drive in road construction to one of the best small businesses in town. The warm friendly smile and amazing donuts and food will brighten your day. The huge lemon blueberry fritter and chocolate croissants are my favorite! The kolaches are warm and soft. The sweetest staff ever. I will absolutely be sharing their wonderful donuts with clients. We make the ten mile drive across town just to get City Donuts! We have been going monthly for the past few months and never go anywhere else for donuts or kolaches. The husband & wife duo each are personable & friendly. Our go-to is a chocolate donut and a blueberry cake donut. Their kolache breading is NOT like any other. (tastes like the best dinner roll you’ve ever had). I don’t think anyone in Lbk can compare to City Donuts.
