The best pizza around! As a former New Mexican, we sometimes have a hard time finding good green chile. The green chile is phenomenal and the home made green chile ranch is delicious. We always go to Dion’s when we come to Lubbock.

It's pizza day! We heard about this place, so today is the day to try it. Okay here we go... Very squared away restuarant. When u walk in u can tell that the staff takes care of the place, very clean. Order up, lunch special two pizza slices with two toppings and a drink(just over $10) good price let's see what we get. The guy behind the counter said u can get each slice with two different toppings. Nice change from having to get what other pizza places make u get. Hmmm, waiting on our order. OMG 😱, the slices are huge and are loaded with toppings (see pics below). It was a struggle to eat that much pizza, but I gotter done(my stomach is not happy with me right now). Good pizza good value and great service. We will put Dions on our return list for sure. P.S. real nice added touch, when I went up to pickup our order the same young man noticed my US Navy ball cap. Said to make sure to ask for the veterans discount on our next visit. For me I'll take a nice discount any day. P.P.S. if u have seen my other post from Italian food places, u know I'm a meatball snob. They had them on the menu, so next time I'm gonna try them...watch out Dion!

We love Dions. If we are passing or staying in Lubbock we stop to eat. If we are headed to N.M. we are so happy with all the Dions around us.
I waited nearly 30 minutes for a premade salad and a 10” sub. They forgot the dressing to my salad and the order incorrect on my sub. Absolutely worthless experience.

Pizza was very soggy in the middle and could not be eaten by hand, even using both hands. It had no structural integrity at all.
Salad was standard lettuce, cherry tomatoes and croutons. The packaged Bleu cheese dressing was very thin and had a mild hint of bleu cheese in flavor there were no discernable chunks or bits of actual bleu cheese.
Overall disappointing especially when you consider that a small pizza, salad, and drink cost $29.12.
