My husband and I had lunch there today. It was hard to tell what you were ordering, because the glass was so sweaty. We had the Sr lunch. The food was just barely luke warm. Then we were just finishing up and my husband just barely made it to the bathroom. He lost his lunch. Wanted to like this place but just cant!

Great takeout. Smiling service and ready, understandable explanation of pricing. Food was delicious! Strongly recommend the collard greens and mashed potatoes. I ate everything--meatloaf, cornbread, gravy--faster than a photographer's flash! Next time, I hope to stay and write a message on the board.
Update: Great food and service again! I had the sweet potato dessert, and it was rich and so good. I ate everything up before photographing my food!

I had the neck bone meal..cabbage and sweet potatoes, it was SOOOOO good.
This is beyond unacceptable . The entire order was not edible. Everything was mushy sloppy and taste like tons of salt. I ordered Salmon croquettes and i couldn’t identify what I bit into. The Mac was just mush . The broccoli and rice was watery . Even the cake had an off putting flavor. -

What a meal! My son had seen several posts on Facebook so we tried it today. I had liver and onions. Hadn’t had in years so this was a nice treat. Moist, tender with just the right amount of onions and gravy (a lot!!!). The collard’s were tender with ham and smoked sausage. Another welcome treat. Blackeye peas were also tender and flavorful. Cornbread to die for and cake. Really fair prices and great service. Go ahead and purchase the to go boxes because you will need them. We will definitely be back.
