Great little Mom & Pop place! They take care of you here! I would recommend either the soft corn tacos or the carne guisada burritos. Excellent food. Excellent service. Nice little place to eat!

Decor: sparse but appealing. Very simple

We ordered chicken and steak fajitas. They were awful. The meat was all fat and they used liquid smoke in it. They were awful and expensive. We were over charged and they added 4% on top of that because we paid with a debit/credit card. Will never go back.

We came in and sat in a booth for 5 minutes without anyone talking to us. Not even a hello. We decided to leave. A waitress chased us out and told us to come back and sit in her section. We should've kept walking. We asked for queso and didn't get it until our food came out. It was so watery and looked like broccoli cheddar soup. The chicken was rubbery and did not taste like chicken. Our waitress was incredibly rude and acted like it was such a burden to refill our water (after she chased us down and asked us to come back). The tea tasted burnt. The only thing safe to eat here is the water and even that's questionable. They began to sort silverware and slammed it LOUDLY for the rest of our visit. DO NOT COME HERE. This place is the Casa Bonita of Lubbock.

I've eaten here many times and usually get the same thing. The cheese enchiladas are very good. Today I ordered the smothered steak fajita burrito, and it was outstanding! It had grilled onions and lettuce, covered in queso. Hot and fresh, and the steak had a wonderful flavor. The salsa is also very good, but has no heat if you're into that. The service is also fast and friendly.

We have eaten here twice. Both times we were not impressed with the food. My nephew enjoyed his cheese enchiladas, but they only serve you two enchiladas. That's a small meal for a 5' 11" teenager.

3rd place visiting on my bucket list, opened 15 minutes later than advertised but they were busy, so I understood. Got the huevos rancheros with orange juice, everything was really good, however the salsa in my opinion needs a little work (I'm a spicy kind of salsa guy), but other than that food was really great the server was magnificent definitely recommended.

Used to be our favorite place to go in town, now the staff is rude and the food is just okay. Very disappointing

Food is average at best. With so many other tasty options, we have no reason to come back.

The service was okay and the food was not very good at all everything tasted like it came out of a can and the burritos are not as big as they seem in the pictures so overall one star

Atmosphere, service, food all horrible. We are from out of town and suggest you don't waste your time.

Have always loved this place but today the service was terrible. Wait staff walked all around us but did not check on us once. We were waiting in drink refills...

If you want good quality, moderate to low cost, good portions of food with minimal fuss, this is your place. I always enjoy going here. Probably the best chips in town. Served warm and plenty of them (if not, they'll bring more!). Salsa can be different from time to time but it is always good. Food comes out quickly from the kitchen, so if it takes a minute to get your order taken be patient.

I walked in by myself and all the small tables were taken. All the tables in the middle of the room were large for at least six people. Since there was no host when I walked in, I asked the first staff member if I could sit in the adjacent room where there were smaller booths. She assured me I could sit there and there were people seated in there already. As soon as I walked in to the room another staff member quickly snaps that section was closed. I explained I had already been directed to that room by another staff member. The snappy lady insisted I go sit in the first room at a large table when I was all by myself. I would've been eating all by myself w other parties completely surrounding me. I was embarrassed and decided to leave since I was too much of a bother to the Durango staff to be allowed to sit in a booth. I will never return.
