Soooo over priced and nowhere close to being worth the money. We ordered 2 burgers 1 fry & 2 drinks - over $36. Wasn’t even very good. Wife couldn’t finish hers. We won’t go back. I have had much better burgers for a cheaper price. I can’t believe 5 guys has many customers. Staff wants a tip but doesn’t even bring food to your table. Definitely not worth the money!

In my short time in Lubbock so far, I have heard positive feedback from locals about Five Guys restaurant. I visited this restaurant September 25th, 2025, with a experience I was disappointed in.
Starting with the good, this restaurant keeps a clean facility. No bad smells. No trash where it shouldn't be. I appreciate a clean place like anyone else. As far as good experience, that pretty much wraps it up.
Without being specific, what made this visit not appreciated was how errors were handled. There was an error that occurred on the ticket, which was taken care of by the lack of an ingredient they ran out of for the night. This caused me to have an incorrect meal without trying to fix it, because the ticket contaiend an error. My meal should not suffer because of a mistake I did not make. What should have happened was 1. Bare minimum, let me know about my meal not a different person. 2. Try and at least offer an alternative item, to me not a different person. The main complaint is, please try to resolve the issue with the correct customer. Be the first to offer a solution. Never just assume the problem is fixed.
If you're the staff reading this, thinking I'm an entitled person that doesn't know what they're talking about, I used to work in this industry and never dealt with errors this way.
All in all, this was my experience. Again, not trying to be specific and be rude.

These are by far the best burgers my husband and I have had in a long time. So fresh & they taste so good. I got a double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles & mustard. My husband got the patty melt. I think that’s my favorite burger now here in town 🥵 my husband said the patty melt was one of the best he’s ever had in his life. And the amount of fries you get is well worth the price 😳.

There was 4 young employees. All very nice and working hard. I left a $10 in the tip jar. And for some reason they got super excited. Lol. They deserved it though. You don't see these young ones working and upbeat about it.

Don’t go after 9pm. Crew was visibly upset (eyes were rolled & attitude was given) when 2 adults and a child came in to eat at about 915 pm. We were done eating and cleaned up our table by 945 pm(Closes at 10pm). Food was really good even though it was cooked with anger/annoyance. So if you don’t mind that then by all means enjoy.
