I don't think I've ever left a "bad" review for a restaurant. We ordered two meals to go, as we were passing through Lubbock. I don't even know where to start.

We called our order in to ask specifically what vegetables were in a certain dish. The woman in the phone told us three veggies. We asked to have it made with that and tofu.

The tofu must have been forgotten in the deep fryer. It was inedible. It was too tough to chew. There were NO veggies in the dish.

We were told the food would be ready in 15 minutes, but it was a half hour. We were too far away when we tried to eat, and couldn't bring the for back to complain. Oh, and the white rice was mixed with just a little fried rice. Egg and a couple shreds of carrot in it. It was all so very strange.

I'm not even going to say anything about how the older woman kept yelling at the young girl.

And finally, hilariously, a restaurant named Fortune Cookie didn't even give us fortune cookies.

I would avoid!

By far the worst Asian American food I have ever had. The dumplings are over cooked. The wontons are over cooked. The rice is under cooked and not fried rice by any Asian standard. Panda express would have been better. The flavor of the orange chicken and general tso chicken is nearly identical. No spice in general tso. Barely any orange flavor at all to the orange chicken. I will probably throw it away and order panda express which is also disgusting to me. It already irritates me that it's almost impossible to find true Asian food and not Americanized trash. But at least cook it properly if you are going to do it.

The food was excellent. I'm half Chinese, so I'm picky about Chinese food. Very well cooked and tasty. The people are very nice and authentic. The cleanliness of the restaurant did leave something to be desired. We saw a cockroach. We will get food to go from there at it was near the door. But I wouldn't want to eat at the location again.

My mom and I decided to stop here to give it a try, since she was told by a family member that it was really good. Never got the chance to order, cause as we were at the register about to order I saw a cpl roaches running around on their kitchen appliances. I poked my mom, that was bout to order and told her NOPE WE AIN'T EATING HERE. I was already a lil' hesitant just by how unclean it look when we first walked in and the roaches confirmed just how unclean it really was. Be careful if you choose to eat here.

Amazing little restaurant. All of the food I've gotten is spectacular, the family that runs it is very nice and they remember me every time I go in. It's family run and owned, so that's a big plus, and it's cheaper than fast food while still being healthier (on average). Oh, and their menu is pretty big. I don't have a single complaint.

Food 10/10

Couldn’t imagine starting off with authentic Chinese hot and sour soup in an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall, but this place is legit.

Even the house special fried rice had char siu pieces, which we all agreed was fresh.

Even my Vietnamese parents were impressed with the freshness of the food.

The air in the restaurant smells like fried everything, but otherwise, highly recommend.

This is quality Chinese food. Not greasy, and extremely delicious. No wonder this place has been opened for 38+ years! Highly recommend to get food here.

The staff is so polite and very attentive to the patrons. The food was excellent and the price was VERY reasonable. My wife loved it and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It may not look impressive as an establishment, but it is definitely worth every penny. I will definitely be returning for future meals.
