here is what you need to know before coming to this location
customer service West hospitable and even got to strike up a conversation with the lady at the front about the history of the location how the franchise almost sold in 2020 but has kept going and is still keeping their other location in South Austin on 102nd Street and slide open and was very hospitable and friendly
I actually used to eat at this place over 12 years ago so it survived a test of time and that saying something because coming from Austin Texas to visit with family Thanksgiving and then coming to visit this location today I didn't know what to expect since the two locations in Austin closed
thankfully this one was still open and open early this morning and I got myself four cod fish grilled tacos with pickled onion crispy taco shell with that garlic sauce feta cheese and teeny bit of cilantro and it came together magnificently one of my favorites I haven't had in years
The place for very well maintained clean with lots of flat screen TVs focused on sports and a karaoke music machine that you can use to override the music playing in the building
that being said I am sorry to say what was my favorite which was the fire roasted salsa that used to be served hot they no longer serve
that being said to have a variety of other options though depending on if you're looking towards tacos or salads or other various options
For the quality of cod fish I got and I was definitely hungry I would say it was decent enough price I got four tacos for just under 20 bucks not too bad plenty of seating quiet environment
also handicap accessible plenty of parking although next door is a coffee shop where a lot of people were parking to walk across the street to so just keep that in mind depending on what time of day you come here

Only reason I took a star away is because you don’t have Apple Pay. You are in a college town! I watched 3 small parties almost 4 walk away from lunch today because they couldn’t use Apple Pay.

I so enjoyed Fuzzy's! Lee was spectacular, and everything was delicious! I enjoyed the California Heat! I tried the Carne Campechano Taco, and it was beyond expectations! The Quesabirria taco was flavorful. As always their cilantro-lime rice, beans, and papas are great!
I had an amazing experience at Fuzzy's Taco Shop on Broadway, thanks to Mia! From the moment I walked in, her warm smile made me feel welcomed and valued. She was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive. The service was impressively fast, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal. I've become a regular just because Mia brightens my day with her positive attitude and efficient service. She truly enhances my dining experience every time. I highly recommend this location. Thank you for making my visits so enjoyable!
Lori was the absolute sweetest ever! She was welcoming, accommodating, and provided full survive till we were up and leaving. We usually do take out but glad we decided to dine in today :) Food was also delicious as always!

Fuzzy's Taco Shop is a restaurant with very good music, spacious, with 2 areas, with first-class cuisine, I ordered the birria bowl dish and wow, they cook delicious food here, I recommend it, the enchilada dish was finger-licking good , its atmosphere is good and the customer service was always friendly and professional, its prices and hygiene are also good, we will return!

Went there recently and the cashier Mia was INCREDIBLE. I’ve never felt so accommodated at a restaurant I had tons of questions and she was so helpful. I’m an older person and usually don’t go out much due to mobility issues but I will me making a point to go back here just to see Ms Mia. Whatever you’re paying this young lady , it’s not enough!!!!
First time in Lubbock. Moved here all the way from New-York. You might think I’m crazy… well, so did I, until one night I decided to take my car and drive around the city in search of a cozy place with some tasty food. After looking for a while, I was driving by Fuzzy’s and decided to give them a try. Let me tell you that the service was great. Everyone here is so nice to you. I have never had tacos in my life and I think it was a great choice to have that romantic “first time” at Fuzzy’s 😁
Food is great. Worth the price, absolutely. Service is excellent. The attendant helped me make a choice, and she had it on point. Food came out quick. The atmosphere… oh god feels like you’re playing a main character in a drama movie set .
Give this place a try. You’ll give another one the next day, except you will already know that you’re about to be served one of the best meals you’ve ever had in your life 😉

Last week was my first time ever eating at a Fuzzy’s. I was Immediately impressed by the service and charisma of the manager. He was so fun and personable. The wait staff was awesome and I will most definitely be back for those tempura shrimp tacos! They were delish (and way better than Torchys). I don’t usually write reviews, but this was worth it. Well done!
