George's Diner Family Restaurant is a very large place with a lot of space, it also has a very long bar, you can also order your order from outside in the Window, their breakfasts are good and fresh, the omelet with everything was delicious as the eggs fried with sausage, its atmosphere is familiar and its hygiene is good, we will return.

I know it’s on the east side but hear me out this place is really really good from the service to the food to the atmosphere and the coffee in my humble little ole opinion is the best in Lubbock for restaurant coffee

I got the chicken fried chicken special for lunch and it was amazing. That sweet tea was the best tea I ever had we were in town for my daughter's family weekend at Texas Tech and came across this little place and it is definitely worth it and it's not expensive. And the service was great she was very personable and amazing I will definitely come back if I'm ever in town.

We have came for breakfast and dinner now. The food at the price point is amazing. Old diner feel to the food. The service is usually upbeat with great care. The inside is definitely confused. There are multiple decors and the back area that be very dark compared to the other half of the dining room, which is weird. There's no Greek food here(to my knowledge.) The portions are a nice size. I would recommend this place to eat. They also have a drive thru window for pickup which seems nice. Overall a must try. 8.1 out of 10.

This place was shut down for a while, but has recently opened and the lunch was delicious. My wife had the chicken fried chicken and I had the Philly cheesesteak. Great prices and again the food was awesome!
