A full bar inside a cinema, quite interesting. In the bar you won't notice anything of that though and it serves great craft beers and pub food. Highly recommend whether you have time before/ after a movie or just looking for a good bar in town.

The Taproom has excellent staff and all of the same great food offered in the Alamo Theater. They were very accommodating when we wanted to hold our office Christmas party here (which then followed on for a movie). We'd definitely do it again.

Only place to watch a movie! They mean it when they say they will kick you out if you disturb others in the movie. And the best part is they have a full kitchen and bar with no children allowed or strictly controlled by parents.

Usually great service from the bartender, a good selection of beverages and food!

Great fun. Enjoyed the movie and the food was great. I ordered the hummus which was an ample dish with carrots, bue and green bell pepers, celery and pita bread. Perfect for watching a movie.

As a weekly attendee to Geeks Who Drink at Glass Half Full in Lubbock for more than three years, I have watched as the management of Alamo Drafthouse has turned over multiple times, each time changing the way Glass Half Full runs and running their staff ragged and mistreating them in general. Customers can see it, and the bar staff obviously does their best to try to fit into whatever that day's rules are. However, last night (May 17, 2018) was the pinnacle of mistreatment of staff. I, along with an extremely full bar and patio, watched as one staff member was sent home and another staff member, I believe the longest staff member in the bar, was pulled away from our table while clearing dishes from our table, fired and escorted from the building. These staff members were in the process of providing excellent service, and have been fantastic bartenders the entire time I've been attending Geeks Who Drink every week. In addition to the ridiculous disrespect we all witnessed, the managers then proceeded to leave the staff they had left to fend for themselves and try to remedy the situation. I'm disappointed that Alamo has no respect for the individuals who work extremely hard to bring a great experience to customers, and favors the managers that have worked there for 5 minutes and their personal anger against employees.

I been enjoying trivia at Glass Half Full for over 2 years. I have always had wonderful experiences with the service and was impressed with how personable the bartending staff was. I am appalled at how these staff members were treated last night (May 17, 2018). With bar area packed to capacity, one bartender was sent home. After expressing displeasure with that event, another was pulled away from our table while she was in the middle of clearing dishes, told she was fired, and was escorted out. These were both employees who I've had multiple experiences with in the past, and ever single experience was nothing short of excellent.

The new management, specifically Robin, seems to genuinely care about the customers. Ian and Caitlin are always friendly and attentive. The love I have had for this place is back.
