Absolutely excellent, great atmosphere, service & food; The effort and dedication put into the restaurant is evident. It was a joy to experience a restaurant that actually prepares recipes in house…. Ordered plenty( party of two) ( we listen: we don’t judge ☺️) Appetizers : Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Zucchini Chips ( a classic) and the Sizzling Mushrooms. Entrees : Blackened Salmon with the rice pilaf & veggies & Prime Rib with the New Orleans Potatoes….. Desserts: Hot Apple Pie with Brandy Butter. We will definitely be returning, it’s worth the two hour drive from Odessa.
We had a wonderful waitress who worked really hard and was so sweet. Our friends and my family alll went to dinner and the food was poor quality. Steaks were tough and not cooked correctly. Two of us had one alcoholic drink and they were so strong you could not drink them. Spent a lot for a nice dinner and very disappointed.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. I didn’t realize they had reopened, my wife and I went to Lubbock to eat before Christmas on. Saturday night, other restaurants had an hour wait, Harriman’s got us right in. I had the 14oz prime rib with creamed spinach, my wife had their 7oz filet with New Orlean’s potatoes, we shared the spinach dip and had some beverages for less than $160– well worth it!
Good service and atmosphere. The pasta a la Van was pretty good, although it came with mushrooms which were not listed in the description on the menu (mainly an allergy issue). The ribeye was cooked well but was a cheap cut of meat, with very little marbling and thin. Overall the food was mid. Not bad, but expected higher quality food for the price.

If you’re in the mood for comfort food done right, Harrigan's Prime Grill is the place to be! I recently had their chicken fried steak, and it was an absolute delight.
Food: The chicken fried steak at Harrigan's is a true standout. The breading was perfectly crispy and golden, while the steak itself was tender and flavorful. It was generously smothered in a creamy country gravy that complemented the dish beautifully. Served with a side of mashed potatoes and greens, it was a hearty meal that left me completely satisfied.
Atmosphere: The ambiance at Harrigan's is warm and welcoming, with a rustic charm that makes it feel like home. The decor is tastefully done, and the layout is spacious, providing a comfortable setting for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Service: The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They made sure we had everything we needed and offered great suggestions from the menu.
Value: The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food you receive. The portion sizes are generous, making it an excellent value for a satisfying meal.
Overall, Harrigan's Prime Grill is a fantastic choice for anyone craving a delicious chicken fried steak. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu! Highly recommended!

** Updating to 3 stars because the owner took immediate action and voided our payment, which I appreciate.
Absolutely terrible experience after eating here for 20+ years. Came in for my birthday dinner and only after receiving my soup for the meal, I was informed there was no prime rib for the evening. We also ordered a spinach and artichoke dip and having eaten this every time we go, so it was easy to recognize that the bagel chips had shrunken by quite a bit. Asked for extra because we didn’t have enough for the dip and was charged an additional $5, and this was after being informed about my dinner not being available. All in all I feel like I flushed $40 down the toilet for 2 waters,an appetizer and my husbands burger. After being a very loyal customer I will probably never come back.
It was… OK.
The bread we received was great, but not warm.
I ordered the New York strip, medium rare and about 25% of it was grey, way over cooked. The rest was medium rare but still tough.
My wife ordered the Tenderloin Brochette, medium. Was basically well done.
Both of our steaks were lacking in flavor. I found myself using the salt shaker more than I should for a steak of this price.
For dessert, we ordered the Pecan Cobbler, great flavor. But once again.. wish it was warm.
The ice cream was also very crystallized, which is usually a sign of freezer burn or the ice cream defrosting and refreezing.
Most likely will not come back.

Got the chicken del Mar which had crab and shrimp in a sauce, it had a good taste but I was expecting real crab instead of imitation and didn't find any shrimp at all.

Our dinner experience started with a wonderful Bavarian dark bread and cinnamon butter. The Starters we chose were a half order of Zucchini Chips and half order of Mozzarella bites. For drinks we had a Chilton, Blue Moon, house Margarita, and water. The Starters were promptly on the table along with our drink order. All was plentiful and quite tasty.
Main course consisted of two house salads, Chicken del Mar with rice pilaf, sautéed vegetables and the Mesquite Smoked Prime Rib with the New Orleans potatoes. Dinner was well prepared, flavorful, and delicious.
Our server Mia was very helpful and happy to be serving us. She’s great! The experience was very satisfying. I highly recommend!

I was so disappointed today when I took my leadership team to celebrate at Harrigan's for lunch. The service was extremely slow. It took over an hour to get our food. Everyone was served, but me, and all I ordered was soup and salad. Someone from the table had to get up and ask for it to be brought out, which the hostess did. The waitress should have acknowledged the delays and aired on the side of rude the entire lunch. A two-hour lunch is unacceptable. One of our team members had to leave before lunch was even served. This saddens me as Harrigan's has always had such a strong history in Lubbock. I don't see them being around much longer.

Ordered a pork ribeye medium well and got a beef ribeye rare. Would have been nice to dine with my wife. Got my drink wrong as well. Worst dinning experience ever.

went last night for date night with my wife. First time since they reopened. Definitely not the same. No longer do they offer their famous loaded baked potato soup, but they forgot how to cook steaks last night. I ordered a sirloin medium rare, preferred more on the rare side. My steak came out unevenly cooked and over cooked (med to well done) and was very dry with the first few bites tasting like it was cooked on the grill after fish without cleaning the grill. I will go back and give them one more chance, may have been an off night
