My Son-in-Law and I chose to eat at Harrigan’s this past Friday evening. We accepted the fact that we might encounter a very busy time, but we were seated very quickly and had a most gracious server. I chose Harrigan’s because I wanted a good chicken fried steak and had read good reviews about Harrigan’s. I ordered mine and specified that I wanted the gravy on the side. When our server brought our meal, my entire plate was saturated with gravy. everything on the plate, the steak, the New Orleans potatoes. all were covered with gravy. The steak batter was so soaked that it was soggy. The steak was very tough and difficult to cut or chew. Because the staff was so busy and we already had a longer than normal wait for our meal, I did not send my plate back. Suffice it to say, that it was the worst chicken fried steak that I have attempted to eat in a long time! The best part of our evening was our server who did her best to cope with a very pressured evening.

This was my first time here. The food dishes were huge and the sweet bread and cinnamon butter were delicious. The waitress was exceptional! She made sure that my drink and my daughters drink were filled. She would stop and check on us. It started raining and a gentleman found an umbrella and was happy to take us to our car if need be. I was glad to have a good experience. We will be back.

This restaurant is not the same as it use to be. We look forward to this restaurant for special occasions for great food. Not this time. Our sweet waiter, Blake, was great but the kitchen staff just didn’t not have it together. The food took 1 hour and 15 min to come to the table. Not only was the item I ordered not available, the ribeye I then ordered was over cooked and gray. I sent it back and never saw a manager to discuss why. Which only leads me to believe they know why. Very disappointed.

Zucchini chips very soggy and chicken on both entrees very tough- had to ask for a steak knife and then still couldn’t eat- salad and soup were good. Called manager to voice concerns, basically was told if we would give them another try they would make it better- but since we didn’t ask for a mgr before we left i guess we were just out of luck- won’t be back

This place is great for a group celebration or just a casual dinner date. Food is always great and service is on point as well.

Disappointing recent visit. The bread and zucchini were both under cooked. Chicken seemed tough and steak was bland. Have always been big fans of eating here. Hopefully just an isolated incident.

Our every occasion is here. If it's special for us, it's Harrigan's. Lost count of how many anniversaries and birthdays we've celebrated here. Missed it when it was gone, grateful that it's back. Thank you, Raina for a fantastic 26th anniversary for the wife and I!

We just went to eat here & loved it!! Raina was our waitress. She was very sweet & attentive! She was the best! The food was yummy! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Raina for awesome service!!! :)

I’m so sorry. My friends and I came to celebrate a friend’s birthday with a group of seven. We had a 6:30 reservation and didn’t leave until after 9:45 over 3 hours due to extremely slow service. Our waitress disappeared for long stretches between courses, and we spent much of the evening just waiting for her to return so we could place our next order.

The ribeye was unfortunately very bland, and the chocolate cake was so dense it tasted almost undercooked. I also don’t recall our drinks being topped off at all during dinner.

Things got even more confusing when it came time to pay. I checked my receipt to ensure everything was correct on the check when our waitress took our payments. My card was charged (I saw it on my bank account), but when the waitress brought our checks, she took mine back without explanation, and didn’t return for over 15 minutes. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since we were a larger group, but after more time passed, a friend had to go check on what was happening. Another 10 minutes went by before the waitress finally came back and told me she had canceled the original charge and ran my card again, without asking or explaining why beforehand. She said the original charge should drop off in a few days, but I feel like that should have been communicated before making the decision.

I truly hate leaving negative reviews, but this experience was really frustrating from start to finish.

Edited to update, I checked my bank and was charged an extra 3rd time for over $100 without my knowledge that it happened or was cancelled.
