Stopped for a quick bite from a long ride, We were greeted by the Manager which put in our appetizer, then was greeted by the waiter mins after, We noticed she was the only one working so we gave Grace to the situation even though it was only 4 people including us two in the restaurant. I Believe the waitress name is JESSICA. As we waited for her to come back she proceeded to assist other customers as they would walk in, 35 mins go by we realize it's taking way too long and she offered things to other customers that were NEVER offered nor suggested to us. Five mins later she comes to our table and tells us she has "FORGOTTEN TO PUT IN OUR ORDER & JUST PUT IT IN BEFORE COMING TO US" we were waiting 42 MINS & IN THAT TIME DID NOT RECEIVE AN APOLOGY & JESSICA DIDNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THE SITUATION, SO WE PROCEEDED TO ASK FOR THE MANAGER. WE DID NOT FEEL WELCOMED BY THE WAITRESS JESSICA, FELT AS IF SHE DELIBERATELY SINGLED OUT. ZERO STARS. BELIEVE SHE WAS RACIST & CHOSE TO NOT SERVE/TREAT US AS AN EQUAL.

Sadly, we've been here 2 times, and each time, we have had to correct the order. Someone is not observant. First time, we ordered no cheese, it came with cheese. Second time, we ordered two double burgers, got singles (burgers are small, so need two). Otherwise, good food, service, and atmosphere.

Our 1st time here. I ordered no cheese on my burger. It came with cheese. Instead of offering to exchange it, she stood there while I attempted to scrape it off THEN she inquired about why I don't like cheese, asking if it's medical (lactose), and I didn't think I had to explain why I ordered no cheese. Then, when she brought the bill, she apologized and said she forgot to tell the cook no cheese because she got distracted. I'll try it again sometime and hope the owner / manager use this as a learning opportunity because not everyone likes the taste of cheese.

I hardly ever write bad reviews but this one was so bad I had to write it. The Huddle House is so short staffed they should probably just close down until they can hire more people. We waited a very long time for our table and during that wait there were group after group that came in, saw the wait time, and then left. All of this is happening while the restaurant has half empty tables. A group that came in 20 minutes after us was seated, so I complained, and we were finally given a table.Once we were seated our waiter did their best, but was clearly overwhelmed having to seat people, cook, clean tables and take orders. The food took a long time to come out, so by this point we've been here for an hour and a half and haven't eaten anything yet. The breakfast we were finally served was bland and nothing special at all. It was nothing we couldn't have made better at home.Lubbock has plenty of places that have a long wait. Pick one of those other places because at least at the end of that wait you'll have a decent meal.

Service and food was amazing. We were greeted at the door and checked on throughout the meal. Audra was our server and she made sure our drinks were never empty and our table stayed clean. Ten out of ten would recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Loved the crayons and coloring paper that was given while kids waited for food.

Service was fair, food was good, and atmosphere was a bit quiet not really the home vibe you would want to feel but a great place for a quiet meal. Blueberry bites, strawberry and cream pancake, biscuits and gravy.

Kid-friendliness: Kid color maps, kids menu, and high chairs.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and take access

We went for breakfast this morning. There was about a 20-25 minute wait which was fine because she let us know that they only had one cook. We sat down to wait. TWO more groups of people came in AFTER us. The hostess called those two groups before us. When we asked her why they were calling other people first she "looked" at her list and said ummm oh y'all are next. There was only 3 groups there waiting when we got there and then we should have been next. Then after we placed our order the people behind us (that got there after us and seated before us) got their order and it was messed up. They received waffles instead of pancakes. Then our food came out and their waitress said "your pancakes will be out in a minute. I had to steal them for the table behind you because I messed up." So I had to wait longer for my food because she took part of my order.

Jacob did an amazing job serving. Super sweet and very attentive. By far the best service experience I’ve had at this location. The Oreo Cookie Pancakes were also DELICIOUS.

If you’ve read reviews you already know. Be ready to wait. The food is good if you’re willing to wait. Not for folks with kids. They’re comically understaffed. Waiters are also bussing tables and getting called from the kitchen at the same time.Food is 4* service is 1 or 2. Price is consistent with 4* or 5* breakfast. Too expensive for what it is, but so is everything else right now.

Don’t come here. They do not have staff to support more than 3 tables. It took our party of 2 more than 2 hours to get breakfast.

It was my 1st visit and my last one. It was busy as expected due to it being veterans day but I still could have gotten much better and faster service and food at many of the other locations that were doing free meals for vets. I saw at least 2 parties sit and wait on service so long that they just got up and left which is what I was tempted to do myself. Food was lukewarm when we finally got it and my eggs were overcooked and not the over easy I ordered. Food tasted OK but not anything to brag about. They attempted twice to refill my hot tea with coffee which I never drink.

This is NOT like waffle house. Service was slow (yes, short staffed but 4 employees for 5 tables seems reasonable). Food was very overpriced and they tack on "supply chain" fee on top.Took 30 minutes for food (again, 5 tables). Food was cold.... It clearly sat. And it was TINY portions. I ordered the big ranch platter & I could have easily eaten two orders (but not at $14/each). The food tasted ok (aside from being cold) but we had breakfast.... not hard to cook.Based on this experience I would never go again. We would have had a much better meal & experience at McDonald's (and significantly cheaper - $38 for two breakfast & coffee

Terrible service. Our waitress took forever to refill our drinks, it would have been understandable if it was busy, but at the most, there were maybe 7 customers. And I think a few of them were just coffee drinkers. My son had a burger and said it was the best burger he ever had. I got breakfast with pancakes. Pancakes were awesome. Nice and fluffy. I didn't care much for the breakfast sausage. My wife got the same thing I got, but with a strawberry waffle. Came out cold and dry with now strawberry. Checked the ticket and it was the waitresses fault, not the cooks.Waited 20 minutes for lukewarm coffee. That's after she passed us by 5 times tending to other customers just a few feet from us. Coffee creamer was clumpy and sour. Gave the cook a tip and the waitress seemed upset. Probably not going back. This place opened after the pandemic and seems to have fallen apart since May. I've smelled porta-johns in 100° weather that have smelled better than the bathroom.

Walked in the door at 930 this morning, there were 4 tables seated in the entire building with 2 waitresses on duty and 1 cook that was leaning on the counter. After taking our name and a few parties names for the list to be admitted to an empty building the waitress stated that they were waiting for help to come and they didn't want to overwhelm the cook...who wasn't doing anything. This used to be a good place to eat but in the future we won't waste our time.
