I keep giving this place a chance (over and over) because their cookies are good but they never have what we want...and I mean never. We always come in and try to get the deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup and they always disappoint with "we are out of those". I have tried like six times over the last five months and it is always the same. It isn't like I am walking in at midnight, it can be 6pm and it is no different. Here is a hint...if you are always sold out, order enough ingredients to have more on hand. Basic supply and demand. I would try more often but my wife always says "you know they will say they don't have any". After weeks of saying let's try, I convince her, and they just disappoint again. It is really an abusive relationship that has to end...

I ordered cookies for my Tech student for a Valentine’s Day delivery. He got a text saying they would be delivered between 2-4pm. At 7pm he told me they had not been delivered. I looked at my order history and it said they were delivered. I called the store and spoke to Mackenzie. I told her my order said delivered but they were not. She apologized and said they would send the order out again. At 8:30 my son got a text from Door Dash that they had unassigned the order due to wait time. I called the store and once again spoke to Mackenzie. She apologized again and said they assigned to Door Dash due to the urgency and lack of drivers for the store. She said she would have one of their drivers deliver so they could make sure they were delivered. Shout out to Mackenzie for going above and beyond to make sure my order was executed!!!

I ordered a 4x4 cookie box, when it arrived I found not only were the cookies cold, hard and stale (I live 15 ish minutes from the store so understandable I guess) but I was missing 2 cookies. I called up to the store and told them I was missing 2 cookies and the guy sighed heavily, clearly annoyed about it. He said he can send them to me or refund them. I chose to get them sent because they were the red velvet cookies and whole reason I even ordered. An hour passes and I still haven’t gotten my cookies so I call again. He answered the phone with an annoyed “hello?” then after I asked about the cookies he said he just sent them out a few minutes ago and they would arrive shortly. I thanked him again and waited for the cookies. Another hour passed and I still hadn’t gotten the cookies. Horrible customer serviceCalled corporate because the store was rude and unhelpful and got a refund
I discovered Insomnia Cookies on one of my early trips to Lubbock to pick up or drop off my kiddo in college. It's one of my go to spots when I have a sweet tooth and need a little snack back at the hotel. This location is located right across from Texas Tech, walking distance to most of the dorms and college apartments nearby. It's kind of genius actually. What I would like to think is that these studious students stay up late studying and need a little snack to get them through it. This place stays open late on weekdays and extra late on the weekends. I have also observed what looks like students with the munchies, but hey, I'm not here to judge! Every time I have come in, I am always helped by young college students and they do a great job greeting customers and keeping the line moving. Cookies is their game, but they also have brownies and ice cream as well. They have all your classics such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar cookie, etc. These are good and are a little smaller in size than the deluxe cookies. The deluxe cookies are more unique flavors, bigger in size and of course a little more expensive. We typically got with the deluxe combo which comes with two deluxe cookies and a milk. I love the s'mores and chocolate peanut butter cup. These cookies are huge and I usually save one for the drive home. They always come warm and soft and pair well with an ice cold milk of your choice. They do have vegan options for cookies and non dairy options for beverages. Something for everyone really. Insomnia Cookies is a chain and I just discovered they have one in my city as well. There is no shortage of cookie businesses, but this place will stay in my rotation when that sweet tooth hits.

I've tried this place twice since coming to Lubbock. Both times I ordered delivery. First time delivery took about 45 mins or so. This last time they took over an hour and half to delivery!!! I called and they seem to have forgot about my order. I'm not even that far from the store!Cookies are delicious and they were delivered warm. But next time, I think I will just order and go pick them up.

Really disappointing... I've ordered online for delivery many times in the past but after this experience it may be the last time. I've placed orders both through DoorDash (Insomnia still delivers the cookies not a DoorDash driver) and also directly through the Insomnia website and I've never had problems up until now. I placed an order via DoorDash at 11:41 PM and it said would be an estimated 20-45 minute delivery which isn't a big deal since it was a Saturday night in a college town. I finally got a text at 12:37am that the driver was en route, so normally I expected my order to arrive within the next 15ish minutes... what I didn't expect is 30 minutes and still no cookies. My boyfriend called the store and asked what was going on and the lady on the phone told him that there was a mix up with the driver and that the order will be there soon and when he called again 15 minutes later because there was still no delivery the store did not mute themselves and we could hear the said driver announce "nah I delivered that sh*t". Finally at nearly 1:30 in the morning the food was delivered and I didn't even feel like eating my food anymore. Do better insomnia.

ordered a 12 count of cookies and ice cream. the order took over 2 hours to be prepared and were never delivered. i called the store twice to check on this and ended up having to go in myself to pick up the order. was not refunded delivery fee despite this, cookies were cold and stale when finally received. whole ordeal took 3 hours, would recommend just making cookies at home
